It was a very, very clean property. While you had to be a guest to park in the parking lot, there were multitude individuals lookimg into car windows and when we arrived and left, asked for money from people.

The ceiling metal vent fell on me while i was sitting on the toilet and hit my arm. It was a bad repair/patch job where they stuffed towels to stop a leaking pipe. The towels were full of mold and mildew. They sent somebody with a first aid kit to treat my arm. The only thing they offered was to refund my one night stay which i am still waiting for.

I just wanted to get away for a few days of semi-seclusion and this was a great location. I still had to eat so I had great choices, from the hotel's own Crickets to sushi to pizza and a little bit of shopping conveniently right on the same premises. Excellent location!

Linens were dirty, hair everywhere including floors and shower. Floors were not cleaned. Housekeeping came and re cleaned but the woman had a nasty attitude. Loud music past 11 pm. Uncomfortable, can’t sleep. Hotel management never reached out after.

Friendly front desk, inside the mall and starbucks, chikfila right by the lobby entrance. Inside the rooms seemed renovated but unfortunately, this place is old, dilapidated, broken elevators, flickering lights. Also their IT was hacked which caused serious security issues (phishing attacks via direct message from hotel asking for my credit card information).

All in all it was a good place to stay
Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Upon check-in I spoke with someone at the front desk to see if we could check in a little earlier (it was 2:30 pm) and she immediately said no come back at 4 like our policy says. Then I asked to put a note to have a room close to some family on the same floor and when she asked my name and saw I was VIP with Expedia (hotels.com) she changed her attitude immediately and couldn’t do enough to help. It’s unfortunate she had to see “VIP” to be nice to me and helpful. Our room had some garbage behind the tv stand and dirty face cloths Uber one bed, and there were some long black hairs hanging off our towels folded up on the rack in the bathroom. It was convenient to be connected to the Florida mall because the weather was just fair, so to pass time we could go walk around the mall. Crickets restaurant & bar has some really good food & drinks. Daniel (bartender) was amazing. The pool area had lots of loungers & a hot tub too. I didn't get to test them out as the sunny days weren’t hot enough, then the evenings were rainy.

The Florida Hotel is just fine it's a high end hotel the price is a little more but the room is exactly the same features as any other cheaper hotels. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom. The TV it turned on but it doesn't work.
