Although the staff was super friendly and accomodating, the facilities were not the cleanest. They staff did let me change rooms when the first was unacceptable, but 2nd wasnt much better. The hallsways smelled like cigarette amoke covered with pine sol. For a quick night stay in a pinch, it was ok, but we will probably look elsewhere if we stay in the area again.

We needed a place to stay that allowed a late arrival (2 am) and wasn't fancy. This motel was just right.

We stayed in Oriskany specifically to be on our way to viewing the solar eclipse the next day. So, for us, it could have been less impressive, especially at the low price we got (while everything else was $800/night). It was Canine Central that night, which was great, since we travel with 2 dogs. What was particularly impressive was that when we complained about the something not working, the manager explained that we hadn't used it correctly (and he was right), but then gave us a discount, anyway! That night, there was a smell in the hallway when you'd leave the lobby area turning left, moving passed the door marked Hotel Manager. I think it's because the garbage can is there, and maybe people were depositing dog waste there. I'm sure it was an unusual situation due to so many traveling on a budget with pets for the once-in-a-lifetime solar event.

So this morning as I went to grab a towel to dry off , opened the towel and found a large bug rolled up in a pile of hair. Beyond nasty . Towels are already not that clean then to find this little surprise . Should have payed attention to the negative reviews . Avoid this place if you can .

The staff were friendly, The room I stayed in was modest. There was no ironing board, no iron , one bedside table, no lamps , nothing decorative…. There’s a huge lobby and breakfast room however only coffee is available.

Clean, well maintained. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Bare bones. Vending machines in lobby. No in room coffee makers. No breakfast/breakfast staples. Physically, rather remote. No restaurants, grocery store or gas station/convenience store near by.

It's perfectly adequate for staying overnight. Very plain inside the room. Bed is fine. Not enough electric outlets. The couple behind the front desk is very nice and accommodating.

Quick in and out/Job interview.
The hotel was what I was expecting. Definitely served it's purpose. The only thing missing was an iron and ironing board.

Needed to plug my laptop in, but my 6-foot cord did not reach from the desk to the nearest available wall outlet some 15 feet away. No washcloth in the bathroom for my morning shower. The list of TV channels said it had HBO. It did not!

The room was very nice. We needed an extension cord for my husbands CPAP machine and the were able to help us. They also helped me print a paper I really needed. The staff went above and beyond. Would recommend and would stay again.

The room had a bad smell. The tub and shower didn’t look like it was cleaned. The two towels that were in the room was dirty/stained up. The ceiling above the shower head was leaking cold water.
