Unique Hotel right in the heart od Downtown Omaha. You can walk all the sites in Downtown like Old Market and all the Parks. The rooms are quite big for an historic Hotel.

As others have said water was a trickle coming from the shower head. Otherwise the room and beds were comfortable, fairly close to Old Market but not close enough to walk though.

The beds were mega low to the ground but comfy and the pillows were good. The front reception lady was rude at check in. Had a bridal party stay for the weekend and she was just not accommodating and short with everyone. Asked for a printed receipt fpr charges and 2 times said it will be emailed to you. The feont door guy was nice and chatty! Not a ton of parking, but thats expected for downtown.

We were excited to try the restaurant but were served bruschetta on smashed soggy burger buns rather than toasted bread. Seemed like our table was avoided by staff after being served. Concierge/receptionist didn’t acknowledge us at all. There was no breakfast or coffee available in the morning. We were only given decaf pods in our room & when we asked, the woman at the desk said they were out & offered no solution. We door dashed coffee which she let sit at the desk rather than notifying us it had arrived. After staying at this hotel & being very happy multiple times in the past, this was not a great stay.

The beds were super comfortable. We weren’t able to check in early because they had so many rooms to clean, so the extra time was not spent napping like we hoped. We also liked that the windows opened so we could get fresh air. The one thing that was disappointing was the water pressure/the shower. It seems like the hard water did its damage and the water was barely a trickle out of 2/3 options. (We were in 706). The staff was very courteous and were very apologetic regarding the wait. It was a pleasant stay all things considered.

This hotel was beautiful! Great location, easy access to the Old Market. Lobby and rooms nice and clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Loved our stay- however there is two issues we had: 1) our room never got below 74 degrees. Even after switching rooms. Lucky we came in spring and not summer. 2) Water pressure. When other reviews say poor water pressure. They do not touch on how poor. Trickle at best. However, the water did stay nice and hot. The pressure is non-existent, not poor.

Unfortunately, they were having an issue with their air conditioning. The front desk help was outstanding. They tried to move us to a different room, but it was still reading over 80 degrees. We decided not to stay because it was too hot to sleep. I can't stress enough how great their staff was though. They were extremely apologetic.

We checked in later Saturday afternoon per their check in times and waited for an extended amount of time. There was only 1 person checking in while another person kept walking up front and then walking away-could have helped move along the 6 check ins waiting to get in. I went down to the lobby again to ask about the air conditioning as I had it turned on but our room got hotter as the evening went on. When we went to bed, it was 89 in there (had air set to 70) and when we woke up it was 87. We weren't even offered a fan. I called today to complain and ask for a refund. The manager answered, asked to put me on hold after I explained what I needed and I sat on hold for 12 minutes before hanging up. My issues are not resolved and I am a VERY frequent traveler. I will never stay or recommend this hotel. I am still planning to request my money back. $300 for a miserable night of sleep is not ideal.

I loved the style of this hotel and the suite was spacious. The restaurant and bar was very good. The only downside was the lack of air conditioning. Our room was 77 degrees and our friend’s room was 85 degrees.

We stay at the Deco because of its proximity to a venue we like. Staff is always friendly and welcoming. There are issues with the room that we experience which are beyond staff control. Low water pressure is an example.

This hotel has significant character and has been renovated nicely. We stayed on the top floor in a "premier suite" which had a nice layout, comfortable bed and great views. There were a few quirks (one of the TV's didn't work, water pressure in the shower wasn't great) but overall the stay was pleasant and we enjoyed the architecture and styling of this historic building and hotel. We did not eat in the Monarch restaurant in the lobby but it appeared very good and attractive for a future stay

The hotel was well decorated and the staff was friendly. The furniture was so uncomfortable. We got stuck on the couch. The TV in the bedroom didnt work and my husband had to fix it. No resources in the room and not sure how to contact the front desk or room service because there wasnt a phone in the room. Only one garbage can in the room which was in the bathroom and wasn't empty when we arrived. The website said there was tea and coffee in common areas. There wasn't. The shower was complicated with the instructions on the sink counter and NOT in the shower. The water didn't get above really warm. We did not get what we paid for.

Finding parking was really difficult on a Saturday night. The property itself is fine... it is sparse on amenities and any place that charges me $5 for the water bottle in my room (I don't care that it was Fiji) gets a side eye from me. Frankly, the room was average. Our shower showed a lot of wear. The beds were brutally uncomfortable. Also, the windows are really thin so there was a ton of traffic noise all night. I understand that it is an old building, I just expected more for the price and acclaim.

Hi Kristina- Sorry your stay did not meet your expectations; we value your feedback as it gives us a chance to improve. On a Saturday night in downtown Omaha, it can be difficult to find a spot, we do offer valet parking in our own private garage as an option. Maintenance has been notified on the shower. Safe travels.
