ONCE YOUR BOOKING IS CONFIRMED, A $100 USD SECURITY DEPOSIT WILL BE PREAUTHORIZED ON YOUR CARD ONE DAY BEFORE YOUR ARRIVAL. TO AVOID THE CANCELLATION OF YOUR RESERVATION, ENSURE THAT THE CARD ON FILE CONTAINS SUFFICIENT FUNDS.
CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR’S EVE BOOKINGS REQUIRE A 7-NIGHT MINIMUM STAY.
ALL OTHER BANK HOLIDAY WEEKENDS HAVE A 4-NIGHT MINIMUM STAY UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED.

1. Compact, Budget-Friendly Apartment
Our studio is very small (165 sq ft) and furnished simply to keep rates affordable. If you need extra space, please check our larger units.
2. Beautiful Shared Outdoor Areas
While the unit does not have a private balcony, you’ll enjoy shared access to: Rooftop deck with ocean views; Courtyard with grill & loungers; Pool, and poolside cabana
3. Noise
The kitchen window of this apt faces the driveway parking area, there is a potential for noise.
Some guests think our AC and Fans are not quiet.
Renovations on Levels 3 & 5 may occur between 10am–6pm.
This is a multi-unit building, so some normal neighbor noise is possible. We do ask guests to be respectful of neighbors and limit loud noise at night.
4. Stairs & Hills
The property is built into a cliffside and has many stairs. Apt 5B is on Level 5 (no stairs to the unit itself), but it sits five stories above the pool and bottom entrance that leads to the beach, bus stop, Oistins, and St. Lawrence Gap.
5. Simple Furnishings & Eco-Conscious Design
To keep prices low and remain eco-friendly, the apartment includes: Basic metal bed & budget mattress (may squeak with movement); Budget linens, towels, pillows; Simple kitchen items; Some stoves require a lighter; Eco-friendly sealed concrete floors; items may show normal tropical wear (rust, oxidation, mild mildew on outdoor items); Sustainable touches like upcycled pallet wood; Some small drywall areas have visible screws, these are intentional plumbing access points. Everything is clean and functional, just NOT luxury.
6. Air Conditioning
Budget & eco friendly window AC units cool the space, but not as powerfully or as quietly as split or central systems. Tip: Set to Cool, turn Eco OFF, use the lowest temp + highest fan.
7. Solar-Powered Hot Water
Hot water comes from eco-friendly solar heaters, it does not get the hottest, especially on cloudy/rainy days.
8. Pool, Cabana & Rooftop Events
These shared spaces may sometimes be rented for private events (ending by 10 pm). During events, the shared spaces will be closed. We’ll always notify you ahead of time.
9. Visitors & Access
Your booking includes access for the occupancy you booked + 2 free visitors at a time. Extra visitors: $25 USD/person (when available). Private rental options: Poolside cabana: $300 USD (up to 30 ppl); Rooftop deck: $150 USD (up to 15 ppl)
10. Linens Provided
We provide: bed sheets + bath towels only. We do not offer beach/pool towels or blankets. Our bath towels are only budget friendly light, quick-dry microfiber
11. Phone & Internet & TV
No landlines. Please use roaming, a local SIM, or WiFi calling apps. We only have Smart TVs with streaming apps. TVs do not have cable. We only provide access to our Netflix account. If you desire to use any other streaming platform please log in with your own account. You are required to change the language back to English to avoid a fee.
12. Self-Service Property
This is a self-check-in, self-service Airbnb-style property: No concierge, bellhop, front desk, or daily housekeeping; Staff hours: 10am–4pm (off Sundays); Access via electronic codes; Common areas monitored by security cameras for safety
13. Getting Around
Sidewalks in Barbados can be uneven, inconsistent and are not stroller or wheelchair friendly.
14. Tropical Wildlife
Expect to see monkeys, lizards, frogs, birds, mosquitos, rain flies, christmas worms and our friendly cat Latte.
15. Utility Outages
Occasional island-wide outages can happen, they are more common during hurricane season. We’re in a central area that usually gets faster restoration, but we do not have backup generators, water/gas tanks or satellite internet.
16. Laundry Room
On-site laundry is available at your own risk. Please check machines before use. Please use your own soap.
17. Early Check-In / Late Checkout
Early check in/ Late check out of the Apt, when available, is offered for $50 USD fee for Apt 5B. Please ask in advance, as same-day turnovers can limit availability. Alternatively FREE self service luggage storage is available in the level 3 laundry room.
18. Food Items
For health regulation reasons, we do not provide open consumables (tea, sugar, coffee).
