Exquisite Newly Renovated Historic Lake Country Home - Maison La Belle

This 1901 historic home is nestled in the perfect location to experience the best of Lake Country Living. The complete interior, exterior, and grounds have been renovated to offer an amazing mix of modern features and comfort. Maison La Belle is located a few blocks from downtown Oconomowoc and adjacent to both Fowler Lake and Lac la Belle - Within walking distance to the city beaches, shopping, and restaurants/bars.

Our 4 bedrooms feature beds with top of the line bedding, expertly chosen decor and furnishings, and ample storage for your possessions.

The luxuriously appointed 3.5 bathrooms include a master ensuite. The second 'bonus' master bath is a spa-like oasis that will enhance your vacation experience.

If gourmet is your thing our kitchen will bring out your inner chef. It features an ILVE dual fuel range and double ovens with a removable griddle and rotisserie.

Maison La Belle features many indoor gathering spaces, including a formal living room and dining room, large reception/foyer, and TV lounge.

The home is situated on a spacious corner lot with a sprawling lawn and gardens with a white picket fence. We have created dedicated gathering areas to help you enjoy the outdoors and enhance your stay. Our grand porch is outfitted with ceiling fans and lounge seating for 11.

We came together from Arizona, Washington, California and Indiana. Wonderful accommodations and super location. Rain did not dampen our time together as we gathered on the front porch to visit and enjoy the ambiance of a wonderful neighborhood. Beautiful home and tastefully decorated. Super comfortable. Walkers delight; close to main part of town with many restaurants and boutiques. Gracious, old world charm.

A unique beautifully decorated home in walking distance to fun downtown and lake area. It has a well furnished kitchen with utensils, pans, spices, and anything you’d need to make home cooked meals. Our second stay at this house almost a year later. Like the first time everything we needed was there and it would be hard to beat the location. Beautiful house, perfectly appointed and the front porch is a special gathering places to make new memories. They’ve added yard lights in the back creating a nice space for entertaining.

The house was exquisite. Beautifully decorated and sparkling clean. Beds were comfy. We’ll equipped kitchen. We enjoyed the porch out front every morning and in the evenings. Short walk to town for kids to shop and get lunch and ice cream. Perfect for hosting bride’s pre-wedding party activities (brunch, getting ready). Yard games fun too. My husband and I and our two adult children and grandchildren enjoyed a memorable and fun filled seven days at this home. The interior is a decorator’s dream and very well equipped. Not once did I say,”I wish there was…..” There are so many gathering areas on the property which we thoroughly enjoyed on Father’s Day with our Wisconsin family. The front porch is its own party/gathering area. The seating is comfortable and plentiful. There is an old fashioned, slow down, antebellum vibe when you gather there. We bbq’d, played yard games, had s’mores round the fire pit - Fantastic! Our family rented a boat and enjoyed a day on nearby Lake LaBelle. All in all, a wonderful experience in a beautiful setting. We were in town for a family wedding. This home was so close to CoCo’s where we had dinner after rehearsal. The event was at the Carriage House, also very close! The owners were on a texting basis with us, which made the process even smoother!
