Überladen ausgestattet
Ich hatte per Facebook (eine Homepage gibt es nicht)am 11.03. um eine Verschiebung von einem Tag gebeten, dies wurde von der Eignerin als unproblematisch bestätigt. Am Ankunftstsg wollte davon niemand etwas gewusst haben, das war sehr peinlich für mich. Bei FB konnte ich die Konversation nicht mehr aufrufen. Das Zimmer -direkt an der stark befahrenen Hautverkehrsstrase gelegen- sollte (im Inland!) die Nantucket Seaside repräsentieren und war entsprechend bis zum Bersten mit dem entsprechenden Dekozeug ausgestattet. Dafür waren die Betten durchgelegen. Wer soviel Chichi mag (auch draussen ist alles dicht an dicht mit Pflanzen, Deko und Gartenmöbeln vollgestellt) wird sich hier wohl fühlen.Uns wäre nüchterner mit besseren Betten und einer guten Büroorganisation lieber gewesen.

Liebevoll eingerichtetes und sauberes Hotel
Wir durften in meheren Zimmern hineinschauen und waren von der Einrichtung begeistert. Jedes Zimmer hat ein anderes Thema. Wir hatten das Zimmer im französischen Stil und hatten wunderbare Nächte dort verbracht. Das Hotel liegt an der Straße aber die Fenster sind sehr gut isoliert, wir hatten keine Probleme beim schlafen. Die Hotelgäste sowie die Besitzerin und Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir können das Hotel nur wärmstens empfehlen.

viel besser als es von außen aussieht!
wir waren super zufrieden mit dem Motel!macht von außen nicht viel her ,hätten wir nicht im Voraus über das Internet gebucht,hätten wir dort wahrscheinlich niemals angehalten.die Leute sind aber sehr nett,die Zimmer gepflegt und das Bett war sehr bequem.Alle Zimmer sind liebevoll eingerichtet,hier steckt herzblut drin.für eine günstige und besondere Übernachtungsmöglichkeit absolut empfehlenswert.morgens gibt es Café und eine kleine Auswahl an müsliriegeln,zudem regionale Mandarinen.

Nicht zu toppen!!!
Wir haben das Shamrock Inn gebucht, weil es sehr gut bewertet wurde. Die gute Bewertung können wir nur bestätigen! Die freundlichen Besitzer gaben sich große Mühe unsere Fragen zu beantworten und unseren Aufenthalt angenehm zu gestalten. Sie machten Vorschläge für sehenswerte Ziele in der Nähe. Unser Zimmer war sehr liebevol und detailreich eingerichtet. Alles war neuwertig und sehr sauber. Auf unsere Frage, ob wir denn am nächsten Morgen Kaffee bekommen würden, sagte man uns, dass es auch ein kleines Frühstück gebe, dass es aber im Internet nicht aufgeführt sei, damit keine zu hohen Erwartungen gestellt würden. Dieses Inn unterscheidet sich vollkommen von allen anderen, in denen wir bisher übernachtet haben.

The check-in was a breeze! The proprietor was friendly and helpful with good advice on nearby restaurants and things to do. The proximity of Shamrock Inn to the downtown area makes this a great location. You will want to visit the downtown. The room is nice, clean, cool and whimsically decorated, not the same old hotel decor. I’m definitely coming back to Shamrock Inn!

But his phone number is posted on the front door and guest was able to let him know that she had lost power in her room. Again apologies that you didn't enjoy your stay. Reallý loved this place. Needed a few days to rest and decompress and this place was perfect. No pool or frills but inexpensive, clean, great hot water pressure and such a comfortable bed. The guy working, (Christopher I think) was so nice and accomodating. Only a few blocks from historic downtown and many restaurants. Right on a busy main Ŕd., but you won't hear it in rooms. Rooms are decorated with really eclectic nice furniture. You'll love this place. I'll be back again!

This was what you think about an oldtime "motor court". Like stepping back in time to old Florida. Just like I used to remember. Terrazo floor, turquise tile showers. BUT updated. Everything worked properly, no cracks in the terrazo floor or tiles. Antique 4 poster bed. VERY quiet. Right on the main road there in old Ocala, but once you shut the door, you would never know it. Would stay here agin if ever in Ocala.

I love staying here, but it lacks a few simple things like cups in the room, no in-room coffee and central office not open in the morning, musty towels and this time we had WiFi but no internet. I do like that it is close to local biking venues and walkable to the Historic District and will stay here again, but hope they do a few upgrades.

This property is on a main highway, but the noise didn’t really bother us. It is an older property, well priced so doesn’t have all the amenities of a newer, bigger hotel, but it was clean, comfortable bed and convenient walk to the center of Ocala which is a beautiful little city -a gem we enjoyed

I liked the styling and decoration of the room. It was nice to have the ceiling fan instead of running the air conditioning. It did take a while to get hot water. A water circulator would be nice to add. Having the free snacks in the room was also nice.

Very cute rooms and for the most part clean. The rooms are small but tastefully updated. Only room for one piece of luggage, but there is a nice outside seating area in front of the room. AC is a bit noisy, but at least it drowns out the street noise. The manage is very nice - a bit odd, but very good at his job.

We had Rm #2; it was a small and eclectic, fine for 1 night for two of us tho I wouldn't want to have an extended stay. We appreciated the free snacks and water bottles. It's on a busy 4-lane road but the noise didn't come in the room. The inn is only 12 rooms, located close to historic downtown. Check-in was friendly and efficient. A good value for the price.

The room was never clean. I was given my key to go to the room number five the door was open and it’s 10 o’clock at night they had not cleaned the room imagine my surprise. I left and booked another hotel.

Great little old school motel for a pit stop. A little noisy so I suggest ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper. Only downfall was there was no hot water in the morning. Which was a big negative. Was perfect for closeness to downtown Ocala. Bed was comfy.

I was sceptical about this reservation, but the other reviews gave excellent marks on cleanliness so I decided to take a chance. You can tell it is an older building but has been renovated well. It was very clean and nice. We would definitely stay here again

Absolutely great stay. Got there after-hours and they had everything setup and called me to tell me how to get in my room. Bed was so confortable. They had food snd water waiting for me. Shower pressure is great. TV was great. I would go back again if I am in Ocala for business.
