Wunderschöne Unterkunft, eine der besten, die ich bisher besucht habe. Nette Kaffeebar mit kostenlos Kaffee (für amerikanische Verhältnisse sogar sehr gut) Tee und einigen Snacks und frischem Obst, alles liebevoll eingerichtet und sehr gepflegt. Sehr zuvorkommendes Personal, we will come back again.

The Madison is in a perfect location in Oak Bluffs. Walk to anything; food, ferry, beach. The rooms are beautiful and the staff is terrific. There is no on site parking, you have to rely on timing and a bit of luck to find a spot in the municipal lots or on street parking in the area around the Oak Bluffs Police Station. But I had no problem with it at all. Once I was parked I was able to walk to anything quickly and easily. I'll be staying there again!

Close to everything. Easy walk from the boat. Great bike storage. No parking - not a problem in October, which is sort of off-season. May be an issue in-season.

I typically don't take the time to write reviews, but the owner of this Inn was so nice, helpful and definitely involved in her business in a good way that made me feel we owe her a good review. The Inn was smaller than I expected, the parking is a little issue, but the clean comfortable room, and the very helpful and pleasant staff is what stands out and are superior to any expectations. I would definitely stay there again.

Our room was the cleanest, best smelling room I’ve ever stayed in. I was not sure when I booked but it was so close to the ferry thought it was a good choice. I had low expectations, but was very happy with choice. Would highly recommend and would definitely rebook there again.

Excellent location, close to the fairy and to town. Good value. We had good weather, so took advantage of sitting in the nice courtyard to relax for a while between activities. The room was a reasonable size and well appointed.

Friendly staff welcomed us. A delightful beverage, fruit and snack bar was conveniently located near the lobby. Our room was was spacious and very comfortable. The location of the Madison to the downtown area was wonderful for walking to everything.

I tremendously enjoyed my stay at the Madison Inn! My room was clean, beautiful, and well-appointed with everything I needed. The coffee bar had fruit and breakfast snack bars, as well as freshly baked pumpkin bead each morning. Staff was friendly and helpful. The location in Oak Bluffs was ideal, and it was easy to explore the town on foot from this location.

The photo doesn't do it justice
First off, the photo on Hotels.com is not what the Madison Inn looks like - they should get a new photo. This photo makes it look like it's a B&B in a residential area, when in fact it's in the heart of the 'downtown' core of Oak Bluffs, sort of hidden behind tall shrubs and wedged between a restaurant and another business. But.....all that aside, this place was awesome! I would absolutely stay here again. Very clean, very friendly, very accommodating, and the location can't be beat.

Highly recommend!! Loved loved our stay!
I’m very happy with our stay at the Madison Inn. First of all it’s in a great location, it’s clean and a very beautiful place. Second, the hospitality was outstanding. We were treated so well by staff members. There was a place for us to leave our bikes and moped overnight! We were allowed to leave our stuff in a room near the front desk even after we checked out. This was extremely convenient for us as we wanted to enjoy our day fully without worrying about our luggage. Again I can’t stress enough how nice the staff members were and how accommodating they were. Thank you for that! It really made our trip even more amazing.

Romantic getaway
It was just an overnight with my wife to get away. We have been so busy and needed a break. This meet our needs perfectly. The inn was quaint and comfortable, located right in the heart of Oak Bluffs. Within walking distance of everything there. A great romantic getaway.

The location of the Inn is perfect if you come to the island without a car and want to be near OB. You can walk to the ocean, the OB ferry dock, the historic campground area and great shopping in less than 5 minutes. The rooms are very small - a great place to sleep but not much room for anything else. The Inn has a sweet little porch and the amenities in the lobby/common area are excellent. It is a friendly, lovely space.

Only problem was that it was supposed to have been a Bad and Breakfast. There was no breakfast other than some apples, snack bars and banana bread.

Off season on MV. The Madison is hard to beat!
Our stay at the Madison in Martha's Vineyard was awesome. The staff (Heather and Antoinette) was excellent. Very knowledgeable about things to do and where to go. The amenities were great. Fresh baked goods for breakfast, coffee tea and fruit. Ice Cream for an afternoon snack in the lobby. Everything you want to see in Oak Bluffs is a few minutes walk and the bus to get to the other towns on the island are only a block away.

Great staff. Very friendly. Loved the complimentary treats and breakfast. They also offer beach chairs and towels. The bed was extremely comfortable. Air conditioner was quiet and very cooling.
