The front door opens straight into a living room where a electric burner sits beneath original beams, with a green sofa and armchair for quiet evenings. A dining nook framed by rustic timber doors leads through to the compact country kitchen, kitted out with an oven, hob, fridge and air fryer for easy cooking. Upstairs, the tiled walk-in shower room has a warming towel rail

Location
Wollaton Village is a quiet, historic corner of Nottingham, built around the 13th-century St Leonard`s Church and a scatter of old brick lanes. The cottage sits within the village itself, with pubs, nature reserves and Wollaton Park all within easy reach, and two bus routes carrying you into the city centre in around 10 minutes.

Good to Know Before You Book
This is a traditional terraced cottage, so some noise may carry through to the neighbours, and we`d ask that noise is kept low after 11pm. The two bedrooms and shower room are up the stairs, and the double bedroom has a low loft ceiling. Parking is on the street directly outside with no restrictions, though a space cannot be guaranteed. Self check-in is via a keybox on the front door, with full details shared on the morning of arrival. This is a non-smoking property and pets are not allowed.

Extra charges
A welcome hamper is included in the price. Early check-in or late check-out can be requested for £10, giving up to 2 hours either side, subject to availability and arranged after booking through a secure third-party platform.

Booking policy
Guests are required to pay a security deposit of £200 prior to their stay. This is fully refundable pending no damages or excess cleaning being required. This will be a pre-authorisation hold on the card taken at least 24 hours before you check in, and is automatically released within 3 days after check out.

Full payment is due 30 days before arrival and will be automatically charged to the card on file. If payment fails, it must be completed within 24 hours or the booking will be cancelled. Early payment is allowed; card fees up to 3 percent are non-refundable if cancelled.

Cancellation policy
Full refund if cancelled 30 or more days before arrival. Fifty percent refund if cancelled fourteen to thirty days before arrival. No refund if cancelled within fourteen days of arrival.
