„We stayed for one night as a stopover on the way North and were very happy that we picked this Inn. The room was quite basic but perfectly adequate for our needs and in line with the price point. We had an evening meal in the bar area which was very good with generous portions and we were served by a lovely young lady who was very friendly and helpful. The cooked breakfast was nothing short of excellent with good quality ingredients, perfectly prepared.“

The staff were very welcoming and friendly and our room was very clean and comfortable. We can recommend the food and drinks on offer in the air conditioned restaurant, both on the evening we stayed and for breakfast the following day. Top marks.“

„As soon as I walked into The George I was welcomed with friendly smiley staff who helped me check in and showed me to my room. They went through dinner times as well as breakfast. I didn't eat breakfast as I was too full up from the dinner the previous evening, the pie was beautiful and the sticky toffee pudding was yummy! My room was of a good size, clean and tidy and en-suite shower room was lovely. I will definitely be booking to stay at The George again when I next visit.“
