Located in North Myrtle Beach, about 5 minutes walk to the beach. Close to Barefoot Landing boasts over 100 unique shops and boutiques. Myrtle Beach Mall and a gigantic Tanger Outlet center are also a short drive away. The highlights of North Myrtle Beach are all nearby, with popular spots like Alligator Adventure or the House of Blues just around the corner. Head slightly north and you'll find yourself in the heart of North Myrtle Beach, with the Main Street area offering a fun sense of nostalgia and great local eateries and shops.

Amazing stay and location

Me and my family came on a cousins trip and this property accommodated our family of 12 comfortably. Management was very communicative throughout my stay. Would recommend staying here again. Suggestion we noticed was missing a full length mirror and some of the TVs weren’t working. The entire rental was very spacious!

Nice but needs more

This property was decent and it fit our basic needs. However, we did miss the presence of several things while there. There are no dressers/chest of drawers or even luggage racks. All suitcases had to sit on the ground all week. The couch is nice, but we struggled to accommodate half our crowd in that area - many people sat at the dining table behind the couch when we watched tv. The kitchen had the basics but not much extra. There were no extra blankets or pillows. What was on your bed was everything available. And the hot tub was still inoperable during our stay. On the plus side, the listing did not mention the extra refrigerator in the laundry room, which was a definite bonus. And we requested maintenance for several issues and when they came, they sent several people and fixed ALL the issues we mentioned.

Not fully renovated

The listing was very misleading when it said it was fully renovated. When we arrived, the ice maker was not working and we noticed dry rot on the top deck. Several of the bathrooms didn’t have toilet paper holders and none of the bedrooms had dressers. Most of my family had to live out of their suitcases. Three of the men were broke on the foosball table and two of the three pool sticks tips were broke. Several of the towels had hair in them and one was even pubic hair-very gross. The jacuzzi was not functional. The kitchen only had the bare minimum. No pitchers, no salt or pepper or Tupperware. Later we noticed a dry rot spot on another deck. There were still holes where towel holders used to be. Two towel racks fell off because they weren’t anchored in. We contacted the owner several times and she did respond timely. Rather than fixing the ice maker, they gave us 3 ice cube trays for a family of 15. The maintenance said the jacuzzi tub was never wired and they had to wire it up during dinner time. They did fix the top floor dry rot but it took half a day and they made so much noise, they kept the babies up. The hot tub was not working the entire week. The pool was cloudy and the owner said she can’t control the weather but the pool person said the pump was out and we were told not to swim in it. The tv in one of the bedrooms stopped working after the maintenance fixed the jacuzzi. We mentioned the lack of hangers and maintenance did supply some. No games, not even cards.

Wonderful Stay!

We had a terrific week at this home. It is clean and bright and beautiful, just as the photos show. The neighbourhood was full of lovely quiet beachy homes lining the streets. A great place to walk our family dog. Communication with the owner is excellent-responding within minutes. The check in and check out process were very easy. The location was awesome as everything was a few minutes (Barefoot Landing, groceries, shopping, restaurants) to 25 minutes away (Golf, Myrtle Beach Ferris Wheel, Boardwalk at the Beach, Merle’s Inlet). Steps to the beach!

Great location and spacious townhouse

We have been going on vacations with our family and three other families for the last 7 years. We’ve mostly had houses in FL, Lake of the Ozarks and Tennessee. The is our second time to Myrtle (the last time we stayed at a resort). I say all this because the townhouse was very different compared to our other experiences. We shared this Windy Hill property with 4 other townhouses (pool and hot tub). The walls were pretty thin and we could hear pretty much everything going on beside us. Noting this not necessarily as a negative but just something to be aware of as compared to a single family dwelling. The townhouse was huge and had lots of space for our families. We had 16 people including 4 teenagers and 6 of our kids in their early 20s. We all loved the access to the beach and pool/hot tub were cleaned nicely. One negative was the hot tub jets were not working but the water was hot at least. We were not used to sharing a pool so that was also different. It got pretty crowded at times. The house was accurately represented in the pictures and descriptions provided. It was a bit dated and nothing too fancy but it was clean for the most part. However, It was very functional in terms of size and space for our families. There were not a large number of utensils/bowls/dish towels for cooking but lots of pots and pans; no cups/glasses only mugs. We made due but had to purchase several extra kitchen items. The absolute best part about the house is the location. Less than 2 minutes across the street to the beach access. It was perfect. Our kids were at the beach or in the pool constantly. Emily was the property manager and she was great to work with. She was quick to respond to our questions and a couple of small issues. She also was prompt in providing check-in/out protocols. Overall this is a great property for families/large groups wanting to be close to the beach and having a clean and affordable option as opposed to something more expensive right on the oceanfront.
