„The home was perfect and was in a great spot. I enjoyed the walk to Yorktown, the history, and plus the food. If you get a chance make sure you go Farmers market on Saturday’s. Nice walk and there was some amazing things at the farmers market. “

„It was off season for the water activities but that didn’t change the view or ability for the kids to play in the sand being right on the beach. We were able to spread out in the house as needed. Easy access to I-64“

„If you’re looking for a place for you to have a safe space with your family, young or old, with all the amenities that you would want from your own home this is it. If you’re a veteran, there’s multitude of bases nearby with commissary’s to get groceries for the week to help the budget. “

„Stay was very enjoyable. Close proximity to the beach, but does require crossing a main road. Home was very clean. Two minor inconveniences but did not impact overall trip. One could’ve been user error. Could not get outlets to work in one of the rooms and the second was a light bulb went out in a bathroom which we swapped with another extra bulb in a different room. “

„I absolutely loved this little cottage and can’t wait to visit again!! It had everything we needed and more. Loved the small private beach and watching the ferry crossing the James River. Spent time in Smithfield, which I want to do again and spent a day across the river visiting Williamsburg. I also got in a little fishing! The owner was great to work with and provided tons of info to make planning my visit perfect. I highly recommend this sweet little cottage! “

„The house is super clean, the location cannot be beat. We had a wonderful week there. Unfortunately we were there in really warm, humid weather so we could not enjoy the outside ameneties as much as we would have liked but the house more than made up for that. Stunning views all around sunrise, sunsets, the sounds of the lapping waves. We would love to come back sometime when the weather is a little cooler.“
