The perfect cottage to getaway and enjoy the peaceful Sylvan lake. This home has been set up for a comfortable and cozy getaway with both beach and dock use available. There is an island on the lake that folks love to paddle to or swim to. The lakefront has sand and a beach to sit and relax, along with a lovely campfire pit.



This is an old cottage with three small bedrooms, a brand new primary bedroom with bath downstairs, and a loft space that has two single beds (no bedding on loft beds but two sleeping bags that are laundered after each guest`s use). There is a full bathroom on the main floor and a full bathroom in the basement. The dock and beach area across the street are for guests use! In the beach area is a fire pit to sit around in the cool Michigan evenings making s`mores! Come out and relax at a little home away from homes!



Guests have access to the entire house, and the front and back yards. Please do not use any of the extra items in the basement like the extra sheets or towels. The fireplace in the house should not be used at anytime. The fire pit outside is open for guest use, please make sure that there is no local fire ban, and make sure the fire is completely out and cool to the touch before you leave it un-manned. The dock is available for use, and you are welcome to sit in the pontoon.



I’ll only be available through the app, but have local help that can assist if anything happens during your stay.



Busy lake neighborhood; weekdays seem to be quieter than weekends. On a weekday you may see some traffic on the road and lake, on the weekends it`s guaranteed. Please use extreme caution when driving on the roads as there are a lot of families and pets in the area that cross it frequently.



There is a lot of parking in front of the house. Getting around is easy but use extreme caution when driving within the community. Also please use caution when crossing the road as there are a lot of golf cart and vehicle traffic.





PETS



We allow up to **3 dogs (50 lb max each)** for **$75 per pet, per stay**.



- If you add pets during booking, VRBO will automatically include the first pee fee in your total.

- If not, we’ll send an alteration request after booking.

- We will request additional pet fees after booking



For larger dogs or more than 3 pets, please **send an inquiry first** for approval.



**No cats or other animals are allowed.**



Water amenities not available November 1 onwards, for the season.



RENTAL AGREEMENT, DAMAGE WAIVER/HOLD, ID VERIFICATION AND CHECK-IN STEPS



We`re so excited for your trip! PLEASE NOTE: Our listing description and house rules mention that you will be required to complete a Guest Rental Agreement, ID verification, and Security Hold (which is not a security deposit) in order to receive Arrival Instructions to the home. Details of the Guest Rental Agreement can be found in the House Rules.



Important: When cancelling your reservation, the credit card processing fees of 3.9% + 30c will not be refunded.

If booking with a credit card that doesn`t match the guest name, you`ll be required to provide a written authorization, photo of the ID, selfie, and card showing the last 4 digits of the credit card holder, or reservation will be cancelled.
