„All-in-all the hotel is good - but there are a few "basic things" that made our stay difficult. 1) there were no suitcase stands and with three people in the room we had wall-to-wall suitcases. For us - over 70 it was not really nice having to sit on the floor to find clothes. I cannot believe that a hotel of this quality is missing this basic item. 2) it would be nice to have something in the shower-room to hang the towels on. What do you do with 3 peoples shower towels ??“

The lobby area and the back porch area where breakfast is served is very historic looking, but well maintained and cozily decorated. Ditto for our room once we let ourselves in. "Principally a good hotel (or rather motel). However, it is situated very close to a highway. The window of our bedroom did not shield the noise, not at all. It was either not properly working or simply not of the necessary quality to keep out the noise.
