Die Unterkunft ist nicht wie auf den Bildern ersichtlich. Sie ist alt, moderig und es befand sich ein Ungeziefer im Zimmer. Die Damen und Herren am Empfang waren Inkompetent und konnten wollte wollten mit einer Ausnahme nicht weiterhelfen und hilfsfreundlich sein. Würden wir keineswegs weiterempfehlen.

its a great location to be in in Big Apple, we travelled as a couple with 3 boys and were able not to keep them hungry and enjoyed so much the roof trerasse at the 36th floor, Fulton Metro station very convenient and near to the Piers for evening chilling, definately 5*

Die Lage ist super, direkt in der Nähe von Metro Stationen, East River mit Blick auf die Brooklyn Bridge und Wall Street . Einige gute Restaurants und Diner sind in der Nähe. Das Apartment Haus ist insgesamt schön und sauber und hat einen gut ausgestatteten Fitness Bereich. Unser Apartment war für 5 Personen gemietet, hatte aber nur 4 Stühle und das 5. Bett (Schlafsofa) mussten wir noch selbst aufbauen (und beziehen), indem wir das gesamte Zimmer umräumen mussten, weil es sonst nicht gepasst hätte. Zwei Bäder zu haben war super und die Ausstattung und Sauberkeit waren in Ordnung. Die Fenster waren etwas undicht, daher schon laut und zugig. Mit Ohrstöpseln konnte man aber gut schlafen, da die Betten gut sind. Insgesamt hatten wir eine gute Woche in unserem Apartment.

Sehr geräumig für NYC-Verhältnisse; gut ausgestattete Küche; sicheres App-Gebäude mit 24/7-Reception. Im Appartement fehlen genügend Aufhänge- und Trocknungsmöglichkeiten für Handtücher. Der Esstisch könnte für ein App mit bis zu 6 Personen größer sein. Insgesamt aber hohes Niveau, tolle Lage und ein einmaliges Rooftop-Panorama!

This stay at sonder one platt was mediocre at best. While the building itself is in a great location and even though it’s an older building, the lobby and elevators are in pretty good condition, the rooms themselves are pretty uncomfortable due to the lack of cleanliness. Upon arrival, we immediately noticed that the floors and countertops were sticky— and there was a ton of dirt and grime along the floors of the bathroom including hairs of prior guests. Our shower curtain had a handprint with make up on it, so we requested a new one which the housekeepers had to replace. Additionally, on the first night of our stay our refrigerator that smelled horrible and with a visibly frozen back panel started beeping incessantly at 1:30 AM With the error code F2. We reported this to the Sonder app and received help the next day in the afternoon however by that time, all of the food we had just purchased went bad because we had to turn off the fridge to eliminate the noise. The repair person who came by did not do anything but turn the fridge back on and tell us that we followed the correct steps to reset the fridge. The issue persisted throughout the stay, but at that point we had no need to use the refrigerator as all of our items had gone bad due to constant temperature fluctuations.

Overal we had a nice stay in New York and the apartment. However, the communication via the Sondor app was poor. I had problems with the security payment which could not be solved via the app (at the end it took me 15min for a call). Futhermore, we had an issue with the fire alarm beeping (not solved during the evening / night).

This is the worst experience I’ve had in ages, not only is everything wrong with Sonder it’s also the way they handle complaints. If you like your to have a good night sleep, don’t go here. Then noise is unbearable because the windows are single glass and there is shitloads of night traffic in the area construction noise day and night. In addition the state of the apartments are way overdue for a renovation, everything is broken or does not work as intended. All the drains including the shower drains are clogged up and don’t drain properly. Pieces of the kitchen fall apart when you look at them. Again do not book here, you will be disappointed.

We had a two bedroom apartment for our family of 6. The apartment was very spacious and well equiped. We were able to find excellent dining options within 5 minutes every night (Italian, Thai, Mexican), and the nearby Fulton station enabled us to be anywhere in Manhattan within 30 minutes. The rooftop was awesome, perfect to enjoy a morning coffee and with great views at night. The Sonder app made check-in very easy, as well as checkout time modification. The drawback is the street noise, with trash trucks at 4-5am every morning (except Sunday), and the construction starting at 7am. We were able to move the sofa mattress into the bedroom that was not facing the street (and which was therefore quiet), so our 4 kids could sleep well. As for the parents, they used ear plugs and just dealt with it :) It's New York City after all. Overall excellent value, we were very satisfied.

Cons: As others have said, the property is next to a construction site, and it was loud. But in NYC most places are. It was not quite as clean as I would have liked. Pros: lots of space for the price. It was really nice to have 2 separate bedrooms and another bed for my family. Close to many subway lines for easy transportation. Excellent communication with customer service.

Great play to stay if you are visiting the city for a vacation. Close to main attractions, grocery stores, and transportation. The Sonder itself was surprisingly good. I was a little disappointed that we ran out of toilet tissue, and they didn’t have any toilet paper on hand to replenish, so we had to buy our own toiletries. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and a nice get away!!

I like the Sonder at One Platt street because it’s quite central, the rooms are not poky and it’s fairly clean. The only downside I always experience anytime I stay there is that the heaters are quite old and so you have to keep calling the maintenance to come help heat up the room space. Asides from that I love it.

This was an excellent property. The studio was spacious, great kitchen with essentials, checkin and checkout were seamless. The app chat was awesome - they were very responsive with any need we had. We had an abundance of towels and if there were any questions, etc. they were very prompt to reply. The area is a little noisy, but they also provided ear plugs but you really did not notice the noise all that much. The area is great and never ever a wait for an elevator. Property was well maintained. Will definitely stay here again !!

While this property was clean and spacious enough for our party of 4 (2 adults, one teen, one kids) there were some issues with the space that you would not be able to see in photos. For instance, the shower was probably the worst shower I have experienced at a hotel, except for a campsite. Water didn’t flow out of the shower head, it sort of sputtered. Also the heating/cooling system was so loud that it impacted all of our sleep, and I was wearing fancy, expensive earplugs. There are also other small maintenance things that need to be done, like the toilet paper holder falling off the wall. (The one ply toilet paper didn’t help either.) Overall, not a terrible stay but I also wouldn’t come back.
