Fairfield by Marriott, LaGuardia!
I have a very emotional complaint that you can fix for future guests/victims of the unintended consequences of having multiple locations with the same name in the capital letters, i.e., Fairfield by Marriott at LaGuardia.
As a matter of fact, it appears that you may have THREE LOCATIONS in the LaGuardia neighborhood called Fairfield by Marriott.
Pity the poor passengers arriving at JFK who need to spend the night near to LaGuardia so that they can fly on the following day. These innocent guests are no different than my wife and me. They would have no way of knowing that there are THREE DIFFERENT ADDRESSES that could come into play when the innocent passenger gives to the taxi driver the instructions: “I need to go to the Fairfield by Marriott at LaGuardia”. Do all taxi drivers in New York know that there are multiple addresses to choose from?
Our driver certainly did not know this niggling detail. We had to spend over $100 in taxi fees to get to the correct location.
You must either change the names of the various locations, or place conspicuously in the top label a clarifying identifier, e.g.:
Fairfield by Marriott #1 at LaGuardia,
Fairfield by Marriott #2 at LaGuardia,
Fairfield by Marriott#3, at LaGuardia,
etc.
It is cliches like this that make the harmed passenger rethink if he/she ever wants to stay with Marriott again.
Best,
