„Wir haben uns von Anfang an im Chateau Elan wohlgefühlt. Herzlicher Empfang mit "upgrade" auf ein größeres Apartment. Es gibt ein Spa mit umfangreichem Angebot, das wir genutzt haben. In der Umgebung das Hunter Valley mit seinen zahlreichen Weingütern. Wir verbrachten 3 wunderschöne Tage hier. Absolut zu empfehlen! “

„Eigentlich eine schöne Anlage. Essen ok. und die Preise wären auch angebracht, wenn der Service dem Rest entsprechen würde. Je länger man bleibt, umso mehr bemerkt man, dass hinter der freundlichen Fassade entweder Dummheit oder Berechnung steckt. Beispiel 1. Obwohl wir mit Frühstück gebucht haben, wurde uns jeden Morgen eine Rechnung fürs Frühstück hingelegt und jeden Morgen mussten wir um unser Recht zanken. Beispiel 2. „This hotel is unique. It is strangely integrated into a mall with restaurants a cinema and shops (although not all open as I went on a special day of celebration) The design is very interesting but not so easy to find your way. My only complaint is that in the room the wi-fi was not good. It might be that our room was very far from the reception desk. Even so we enjoyed being there “

„Uns war es zu laut. Wir haben ein Zimmer direkt neben dem Tennisplatz. Auch der Straßenlärm war störend. Das Zimmer unter uns war mit einer 5 köpfige Familie belegt obwohl das nur für 2+1 Personen geeignet ist.“

„I had my large family together for a family wedding and holiday.Our stay was wonderful.The house was large enough for us all and very comfortable.Providing us with great entertaining areas and individual privacy when we needed it.Would thoroughly recommend the property for a comfortable stay.“

„It was a pleasant surprise from the time we entered the "hidden" driveway. Cabin 6 was at the front away from the water. This meant it was very private and quiet. WE had a lovely three day stay and would recommend it as great value“

„Location is superb. Close to the water and close to town. Tick tick. The accommodation is old and, although mostly renovated, has some shortfalls. The stove was quite a scary contraption. The oven temperature dial was in Fahrenheit and considering Australia went metric in the 1960’s gives you some idea of the age! The space felt very small. „Place was very unclean. I spent the first few hours after arrival cleaning. Floors unswept, sinks needed a good scrub, hair and marks all over walls in bathroom, layer of dust on top of shelves, fridge, light switches etc. Other then that the location is always great for fishing and swimming. although I think the area has gone downhill since last I visited alot of rubbish, broken glass, drunks, and dog droppings in the neighbourhood.“
