ROACHES, ROACHES, ROACHES. We booked this hotel through Orbitz and up until now have never had a problem with booking through this site. Upon check in, we proceeded to take our stuff up to the room. As we were unpacking a roach crawled out from behind the TV area. We immediately gathered our things and notified the front desk lady. She did offer to send us to the next level. But I told her my daughter is deathly afraid of cockroaches and is immunocompromised. She basically said “what do I expect, it’s New Orleans”. I said ROACHES don’t stay in one area. She said they had just sprayed a few days before and we have been the only one that complained. She stated that he called the manager and that he was not responding to her text. Told me to call the next day and he will be in by 3pm, called the next day and was told to call the back by 5pm still no manager available and he never called me back. you should not have to live with ROACHES. I will be contacting the better business bureau. I forgot to mention I did notice the musty smell as one guess noted. Be aware that Orbitz will not help you resolve the issue. You are on your one so if you book through Orbitz know your money is not safe

Pésimo servicio ! Se supone que el check in es a las 3 Y ya pasaban las 5:00 pm y nuestras habitaciones no estaban listas por que no estaban limpias ! Quisimos cancelar y la señorita del front desk solo nos gritó que no podíamos hacer cancelaciones ! Nos entregaron las habitaciones como 5:40 pm para entrar a la Habitación y toparse con un cuarto que olía terriblemente mal a húmedo moho ! Aparte de que los sillones y la cama estaban sucios . Nuevamente regresé al front desk y la señorita no me dio ninguna solución ! No me quisieron cancelar las 3 habitaciones y solo me tuve que salir por que definitivamente ahí no se podía dormir mi familia Estuvimos esperando respuesta del gerente del hotel y hasta el momento nadie nos ha contactado ! Y estamos muy decepcionados y tristes por la mala experiencia . Por qué perdimos valioso tiempo de nuestras vacaciones así como dinero .

Was already in not to good of a mood as a i came to bury my older brother. Reserved an executive suite and was placed on the 4th floor. Room was huge and worth it, but the tv didnt work due to a short in the cord. So after 2 days of no tv being available they moved me to what was suppose to be another Execurive King Suite on the 1st floor Rm 101. The room was just a regular room that they had stuffed everything from the Executive Kind Suite into it. Sitting area had ottomans stuffed between sofa and siiting chair so unusuable. Then to top it off in the bathroom there was mold on the ceiling. Was highly disappointed and couldnt believe they were ripping people off just because they crammed everything on top of the other into the room and called it an Executive King.

This hotel from the outside looks great! But when i got there the elevator only went up so we had to take the stairs to leave out. The rooms were initially clean but we stayed there 4 days with no service. The room started smelling wet like mildew and now me and my kids are sick. The cable box had a shortage so we had a hard time using the tv. Overall I will not be returning. It is not suitable for someone with kids.

Found out the 2nd floor elevator button did not work. The only way to get off the floor was to use stairs. The door to the stairs wouldnt open when pushed, had to use a card to depress the latch. Not one sign stated the elevator problem. Was not informed during check in. The front desk worker the next morning said "yeah, we now. Waiting in parts". NOT GOOD CUSOTMER SERVICE AT ALL, too busy on cell phone.

NEVER AGAIN
First room had two tvs that did not work. Power outlets did not work and had bugs and spiders. Guy working at desk told my husband he was aware. He moved us to another room it was better. Had to have 2 remotes for tv. Bath tub didn’t stop up but the toilet did. Couch was gross couldn’t sit on. It was a good thing for them I prepaid!

Good, but not great.
First let me say that the Amanda the front desk clerk was excellent, we had an issue with the bathroom and she switched rooms for us. Now, for the not so good, the carpet felt like it could use a cleaning. Felt sticky and gummy, secondly not enough towels. I had to take some from a cleaning cart.

I was ignored by clerk at check-in. No toilet paper holder. Bottom of tub was very slippery. Shower curtain rod was rusty. Bathroom exhaust fan was not working.

It is OK for staying
The carpet was kind of dirty, we had to wear our sandal during our stay. The floor was sticky and a lot of dirty spot on. The closet didn't have the cross bar for hanging clothes. Bed sheets on one of two bed still had dirty black spots on. Customer service was nice.

The hotel was in poor shape. The refrigerator was frozen over. Apparently they couldn’t put a toilet paper holder so it laid on the shelf. The latch was broken and the couches were ripped. They made me walk down to get the sheets and extra blanket. There were tiles missing and the hotel had broken pieces all around. Don’t waste your money here!!

Reserve a room with 2 beds and a sofa bed and when I got to the room they changed it for one bed and a sofa bed without letting me know. Then they can changed it because they were sold out. Still waiting for my refund.

The Staff was friendly. We could tell that the room was freshly cleaned because our bathroom floors were still wet when we got into the room and the smell of cleaning products was strong. The room appears to be in the middle of a renovation. A portion of the wall was haphazardly plastered but not painted. The curtains had brown water stains. The toilet paper roll was broken. The shower water pressure was dismal. We couldn’t get the cable box on the TV to work.

Smelly outdated rooms
The rooms are extremely outdated. They smell like its some hidden mold or mildew in the walls. They had an urine smell. The carpet was terribly nasty. We had 2 rooms and they both had red nasty stains in the carpet. The air in the rooms was just stuffy and smelly. Glad we brought linen for the bed with us cause we we're kind of afraid to lay on them. I also heard another guests complain at the front desk about her room smelling horrible and I told her I think it was the whole hotel. I hope this review reaches the right person that can make a change in the upkeep of this property because as of now I will never stay here again.
