"Das Hotel liegt strategisch günstig. Man ist in wenigen Minuten an der Canal Street und im French Quarter. Ausserdem halten die Trolly-ycars und der Hop on Hop off bus direkt vor der Tür. Der Stil des Hauses war angelehnt an alte Zeiten, kann man mögen oder nicht. Aber es hatte Stil und alles war sauber. Ausserdem soll es eines der besten Restaurant des Stadt beherbergen.... wir haben es nicht benutzt. Unser Zimmer war Ok und sauber. Die Betten waren auch OK. Die Dusche im Bad war in der Wanne. Der Duschvorhang war neu. Das Zimmer wird wohl nur auf Wunsch gereinigt. Neue Handtücher und To-Papier haben wir uns von der Rezeption geholt. Preis und Leistung stimmte. Wir würden wiederkommen. Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit."

"The hotel is located in the center of the French quarter. But is very quiet and safe. Close to the main spots to visit. If you look after something historical but high class and quality - this is the place. The guys at the front door and reception were very friendly and helpful. But a big compliment goes to Roy - the concierge. He provided us with many hints (not only for New Orleans, but also for our road trip). With his help we organized two tours (city bus tour and the Whitney Plantation). If you stay at this hotel, definitely ask Roy for advices! "
