Welcome to Ferncliff, an impressive 3 story mountain home in the heart of Wintergreen with year-round sunset views! Enjoy the multiple decks with hot tub, gas firepit, outdoor dining for 8, and several seating areas. Inside, you'll love the light-drenched living room with vaulted ceiling, updated kitchen and dining, all with views of the mountains. We are located in the heart of beautiful Wintergreen in Virginia, which has tons to do for all ages, year-round. Ferncliff is just a few minutes’ drive to the slopes and all the dining and entertainment at Wintergreen. Some of the best hiking trails in the state are off the Blue Ridge Parkway (15 minutes from the home), plus there are other great trails just down the street that you can walk to. Also nearby are two sandy-beach-entrance lakes plus a community pool for swimming, and over dozen wineries, breweries, and distilleries- all within a 30 minute drive.

The house has 5 bedrooms (one is a loft bedroom) and 3.5 bathrooms, with the layout as follows:

Main level:

- Living room with wood burning fireplace and big screen smart TV
- Dining area for 8, plus room for 4 more at the kitchen bar
- Fully stocked kitchen with granite counters, stainless appliances, plus coffee bar
- Half bath
- Main level deck on back of house features propane firepit with comfy seating and outdoor dining for 8
- Main level deck on side of house has a grill, food prep table, and additional outdoor dining table for 4

Lower level:

- BR1: Master bedroom suite with king bed and ensuite bathroom. Suite features one vanity inside the bathroom, and another just outside the bathroom
- BR2: King bedroom with lower deck access
- Hall full bath, serves BR2
- BR3: Queen bedroom with lower deck access
- BR4: Small bedroom with twin-over-twin bunk beds
- Add'l hall full bath, serves BR3 and BR4
- Laundry room
- Lower deck on back of house features a few seating areas and fantastic views.
- Lower deck on side of house has hot tub. Can also be accessed from main level deck with grill

Upper level:

- BR5: The upstairs is a loft that is open to the main living room and features both a queen bed and a full size sofa, plus a small private deck. *NOTE- this bedroom is not fully private since it is open to the floor below, and there is no bathroom on this level.

Other things to note:

- Wintergreen offers hiking, skiing, snowboarding, tubing, swimming, dining, spa, ropes course, golfing, and much more.
- Motorcycles are not permitted at Wintergreen Resort
- The parking area can fit 3-4 vehicles, and there is room for a few more at the entrance to the driveway.
- Wifi is fast with a strong signal throughout the house and decks.
- The living room, plus 3 of the bedrooms feature smart TVs where you can sign into whatever streaming services you subscribe to. We do not subscribe to cable.
- We provide a fully stocked coffee bar with multiple coffee drip and Keurig options
- Linens and towels provided
- Guests can enjoy free community pool access in the summer season (though the HOA rules stipulate no more than 6 guests at a time, and the permitted hours are 2-6pm).
- Pack n play and high chair provided
- No pets allowed
- We do require a separate rental agreement, which we will send a link to e-sign after you book. There are no additional fees beyond those listed here.
