Upon entering the main level of this stately home, you'll immediately be greeted by the sleek open floor plan that is complemented by the elegant black trim along the windows and glass doors. Get cozy in the living room centered around a stone gas fireplace and smart TV with streaming capabilities. Relax on the screened porch (accessible from the living room), which offers patio seating and an outdoor dining table for enjoying meals al fresco without worrying about natural elements interfering, or opt to enjoy dinner inside at the dining table with similar woodland views and seating for 8. Seasoned chefs and amateur foodies alike will delight in the gourmet kitchen, which boasts stainless appliances, a gas range stove, and quartz countertops with ample space for chopping and prepping.

The upper level consists of the primary bedroom with a King bed and en suite bath while the lower level provides a den area with patio access, one Queen bedroom, one King bedroom, and a bunk room with two sets of bunks (full-size on the bottom & twin size on top), making it a convenient option for intergenerational families with different needs traveling together. Outside, the home offers an outdoor kitchenette (mini fridge and gas grill included) with outdoor dining space, an outdoor fire pit, a private dock, and a small beach area for all your lake adventures!

Located in Nebo, just 45 minutes from Asheville, this upscale lakefront cabin is the perfect place to rest, relax, and recharge as you enjoy everything that the Lake James area has to offer. Build sandcastles and sunbathe on the mountain beach, cruise the lake in a boat, and cool off by swimming at Paddy's Creek (3.9 miles away). Explore the many nearby hiking and biking trails within the community, or take a brief drive to the Linville Gorge Wilderness Area (15 miles away), Wolf Pit Trailhead of Shortoff Mountain (8.7 miles away), or the Linville River Trailhead via the Fonta Flora State Trail (5 miles away). After a full day of adventures, grab a refreshing craft beer at Fonta Flora's open-air brewery at Whippoorwill Farm (1.5 miles away), or travel to the charming small town of Marion to enjoy another cold one or sample local cuisine (20 minutes away).

Please note: This house is dog-friendly, with a $100.00 non-refundable fee per dog (maximum of two). Sorry, this home is not cat-friendly due to common allergies. This home has 4 exterior cameras and a Ring Doorbell facing the driveway/parking area. This home has its own private boat dock and a small beach area on Lake James. The owner's boat and jet ski are docked, but there is an available spot for a guest boat and an additional jet ski. If interested in renting a boat during your stay, please contact Lake James Marina or Noah's Landing. While the home provides access to Lake James, it does NOT offer access to Camp Lake James amenities.
