Our cabins are located in the beautiful woods and countryside of Brown County, Indiana. While we provide routine professional pest control and keep our homes clean and well-maintained, guests may occasionally see seasonal pests such as mice, flies, lady beetles (Asian beetles), or stink bugs — especially in the fall and spring.

These harmless insects are part of life in a rural setting. We do everything possible to minimize their presence and appreciate your understanding as part of the authentic Brown County experience!

PET-FRIENDLY PROPERTY: There is a $75 fee per pet. Moondance Vacation Homes proudly donates a portion to the Brown County Humane Society when you bring your pet and pay your pet fee.

ALL EVENTS, DAY GUESTS, AND PARTIES ARE PROHIBITED WITHOUT PRIOR WRITTEN APPROVAL FROM PROPERTY MANAGEMENT. Effective July 1, 2025, the county has raised the innkeeper's tax from 5% to 8%.

Absolutely loved the Snoozy Snail. The house was well equipped with all your basic amenities. The backyard was quiet and private, really enjoyed the hot tub on our two crisp mornings. The house is was so comfortable, clean and perfect location to explore downtown Nashville.

Everything was good. House was very clean and hot tub was clean. House is small but cozy. Good spot close to shops. Nice firepit and free wood very much appreciated. However, VRBO provided the wrong address number to the property. The address number VRBO sent in an email was wrong. Moondance sent the correct address and I double checked with them.

Relaxing getaway

The Snoozy Snail was the perfect location for our relaxing getaway. The hot tub was clean and allowed for a relaxing soak listening to the trickling stream. The outdoor space was quiet and private. The house was only a couple of minutes from downtown Nashville shopping and dining.

Awesome location and space!

Snoozy Snail was a great spot for our family’s two night getaway to Nashville and Bloomington! Literally a two minute drive to downtown Nashville or Hard Truth, less than five minutes to park entrance, and 30 minutes to Bloomington. Only suggestion would be a door to the bathroom that fully closed, but not a huge deal. Hot tub was great for chilly nights! Plenty of firewood and starters on hand for s’mores. Would definitely recommend!!

Bachelorette Weekend

We came to Brown County to celebrate a Bachelorette party for my sister. The Snoozy Snail was a perfect home for our group. The location made it easy to get into town, and not far from Bloomington for additional activities. Eric's place really felt like a home away from home- he's thought of all the little details! We can't be happier about our experience, and will be the first home we look for when we return to Brown Co.

Camp Bach Weekend

Our goal for the weekend was to relax and enjoy all the beautiful amenities of brown county. We have fun bonding in this small but cozy cabin. The hot tub, hammock and tiny creek was a perfect mix of outdoorsy and comfort. We really enjoyed how close the shopping and wine tasting was. Couldn’t have been more thankful for a better weekend!

Stayed with my daughter and her husband. We attended multiple events at IU and enjoyed downtown Nashville. Only negative was not having a washer/dryer, but all else was great!

Nice place!

The house was clean and lots of small touches that improved our stay! The house is supplied with everything you might need but didn’t pack! The outdoor space is very nice. (This is not a critique of the property; it is in a nice location - just an FYI. It could be walkable to the shops and restaurants; however, there is no sidewalk and would be tricky especially with young children or a pet (or even if just more than 1-2 people).)
