2-South has two beautifully designed bedrooms that are thoughtfully furnished for your comfort. One bedroom has a King bed, while the other has two Twin XL beds, all with premium quality Parachute-brand bedding, Tuft & Needle mattresses, curtains, blackout shades, and a white noise machine. The Twin XL beds can be pushed together into a King upon request.
This unit can sleep up to 6 guests. In addition to the bedrooms, there is a sleeper sofa in the living area. Extra bedding and pillows are provided.

The bathroom in 2-South features a repurposed vintage cabinet with a vessel sink and a shower/tub combo.
Plush Parachute-brand towels, premium Public Goods amenities, and other essential toiletries are provided for your convenience and comfort.

2-South's fully stocked kitchen features stainless steel appliances (electric range, microwave, French door refrigerator and freezer, and dishwasher) and butcher block countertops. You'll have everything you could reasonably need to cook your favorite meals--from utensils and dishware to plenty of pots and pans and basic cooking ingredients.
Dine indoors at the dining table that seats 6, or take the stairs up to the shared rooftop patio for a delightful meal outside.
Prefer dining out? Stroll to one of Nashville’s many nearby restaurants for a local treat and bring leftovers back to enjoy later.

Guests have private access to 2-South and shared access to the rooftop patio. This unit is located on the ground floor, and rooftop patio access is via a private interior staircase.
One free parking spot is available on-site, and additional free street parking is available nearby.
Check-in is contactless with key-coded door locks. Your unique door code, along with detailed check-in instructions, parking information, and check-out guidelines, will be sent a few days before your arrival.

Each unit has one dedicated parking spot behind the building, accessible via Honeysuckle Lane (a one-way street running south to Washington Street). Additional free street parking and public lots are available nearby.
Keep in mind that rideshare services like Uber and Lyft are very limited or unavailable in the area, so plan to drive or walk as you explore Nashville. Most shops and restaurants are within walking distance, but if you're venturing beyond town, having your own vehicle is recommended.

The Brown County Barn Burner sits in a quiet yet convenient corner of Nashville, Indiana, at the intersection of Jefferson and Washington Streets. You’re just a few easily walkable blocks from the heart of town, where you’ll find locally owned shops, art galleries, restaurants, coffee spots, and more.

Less than ¼ mile away, the Salt Creek Trail provides a scenic, paved path (¾ mile) leading to the Brown County Music Center, Brown County YMCA, IGA grocery store, and additional restaurants and shops in Salt Creek Plaza. Prefer to drive? You’ll be less than a 5-minute drive from the Brown County State Park or a slightly further–but still easy–drive to Yellowwood State Forest, Lake Monroe, and the nearby cities of Bloomington and Columbus.

We live just a few miles outside of town and work in Nashville, so we’re usually nearby if you need anything.
That said, unless you reach out, you likely won’t see us during your stay—unless we happen to cross paths at a local restaurant!

This is a great place to stay! Great location within walking distance to everything downtown Nashville has to offer. We had a little hiccup while we were there and Kara was quick to respond with a remedy. Highly recommend this place!

Best we’ve had in Nashville

We’ve been coming to Nashville, Indiana for 12 years over the Christmas holidays. We’ve probably stayed at 10 different properties. In town is always so convenient to just park and walk. This rental was the most up to date and modern we’ve stayed in. It’s obvious that a lot of thought and care was put into the accomodations. Perfect for up to 4 people. Couldn’t have asked for nicer or cleaner and we’ll be back next Christmas for sure.

Wonderful Trip

The property was well-appointed and in a central location to all of the shops and restaurants in Nashville. The pictures are exactly what it looks like - it was very cozy and we felt at home. Kara's (the owner) emails with Google Maps pin drops, for all the different shops/restaurants, were great to reference throughout the weekend trip. It is such a charming city to visit a week ahead of Christmas. We would absolutely return to the BC Barnburner again.

Location...right in Nashville 2 blocks (1 down, 1 over) to Brown County Playhouse Clean...Mostly accessible for wheelchair (couldn't do stairs for rooftop) Definitely would stay again!
