Die Unterkunft liegt sehr nahe am Strand. Das Zimmer war ok, die Kücheneinrichtung neu und gepflegt. Wir waren über das Wochenende dort und dann steht der Preis von knapp 300 EUR die Nacht in keinem Verhältnis zu der Unterkunft. Davon abgesehen war es ruhig, man könnte sich draußen an die Tische setzen und war in 5 Minuten am Strand.

Hat seine beste Zeit vielleicht schon hinter sich
Die Lage des Hotels ist der Hammer - direkt am Strand. Deswegen würde ich auch wieder hin gehen und es weiter empfehlen. Sauberkeit und Comfort sind "naja". Das Hotel sieht aus, als hätte es seine besten Zeiten vielleicht schon hinter sich. Im Hotel selber hat man keine Möglichkeit, etwas zu Essen oder zu Trinken bekommen. Aber wenn man so wie wir auf der Durchreise ist, für eine Nacht, ist es toll und absolut zu empfehlen, weil Sonnenauf- und untergang schon sehr ein Highlight waren!

I love staying at the Scarborough Motel- It is our favorite motel and I will always stay there. I was disappointed that we were charged an early "check in fee" when we were the only guests there and our room was ready for us.

Property was nice. They advertised for early check-in, but they charge an additional $35 for the convenience. Appears to be a bit deceptive. Polite staff and great location.

The room smelled like bleach. Which led us to believe the room was clean. There dirty fingerprint marks on the walls next to the toilet. There brown/red smudges on the bathroom door and door frame. The pillows were extremely flat and uncomfortable. The odor of bleach was so strong we both woke up with headaches. Neither of us felt comfortable showering based on what the shower looked like. The room was way too expensive for the condition it was in. We stayed in multiple inns and hotels in the area over a week that were cheaper and a 100 times cleaner and nicer.

Perfect little place to lay your head!
We stayed for the first time ever there for two nights. Being right next to the beach is the best amminity! It was reasonably priced and perfect for what we needed! Clean and friendly service! We will be back!

Crap no flexibility to handle problems
I booked a non-refundable room. The day before my trip my wife tests positive for Covid. The fishing boat I was going on won’t let me on board. The fishing capt allowed me to postpone. I call the hotel. Nope. Can’t reschedule. Call hotels.com. They call hotel. Nope. Then I get a note saying we charged you for one night which was all I booked. Hope we get your business again. Right.

Hi Jeff, We are sorry that your wife tested positive for COVID and hope everyone is doing well. Our cancellation policy states (in the email confirmation/receipt that you received) modifications can be made a week prior to arrival, but in the 7 days before arrival, changes may not be made without incurring a cancellation fee. We are one of the few convenient hotels around for the many fisherman who stay with us for their outings. We understand you are upset, and even though you disparaged us, you are welcome at the Scarborough Beach Motel for your next fishing trip, as you may find it difficult to find accommodations in the area. Again, we are sorry your plans did not work out.

Great location and stay!
We stayed for one night in October to visit our daughter at URI. The room had an amazing ocean view, and the sunrise was gorgeous! Although quite small, the room was very clean and updated. The staff were friendly and thorough. The breakfast was underwhelming, but did the trick! We would definitely stay again!
