Perfect private getaway!
This place is perfect for couples! Private, romantic and outdoor lovers dream! I cannot say enough! The pond is gorgeous and fishing access is wonderful! If the place comes up for sale we'll buy it!

Great Cabin!
My wife and I fully enjoyed this beautiful clean and updated little gem. We went for are anniversary. Very private (no neighbors) it’s like you have the lake to yourself! Such a great location. The owners could not have been more accommodating. Hated to leave, can’t wait to return for another weekend away or longer.

Amazing cabin and property
We chose this for a weekend getaway. Absolutely loved it. Cabin is right on Trickey Pond, and is a beautiful place to watch sunrise and sunset from the dock. Great fire pit with plenty of wood. Cabin was super clean and had everything we needed to make a great weekend.

Slice of Heaven
From the moment we arrive on the property, we were on awe! There was supposed to be a hurricane going on, but you'd never know it! This little camp is tucked right into a beautiful cove of Tricky Pond. Which offered just the right amount of coverage to the property. The cabin was homey, clean and comfortable! The loft was fun to sleep in, and the views are incredible! We kayaked out to watch the breathtaking sunset, we laid in the hammock, we had breakfast on the porch, we sat by the fire every night. We chose a couple of movies from the decent stock of DVD's. We didn't leave once, and it was the most peaceful and relaxing experience we could have ever hoped for! Without a doubt we will be back!

Peaceful Escape
Absolutely enjoyed this property and all its amenities. Cabin was very clean and cozy. The cabin is situated close to the water and very private. We went kayaking, fishing (caught several fish), and floated on tubes in the warm clean water. The water was so clear you can easily see the sandy bottom and fish swimming around. Dave was nice and prepared a campfire for us. I would highly recommend this cabin to enjoy nature and disconnect from a busy life.

One of the most beautiful little getaways in maine
The cabin was exactly what we wanted and were hoping for. Waking up to the sunrise on the lake everyday felt like a dream. If youre looking for the perfect place to relax and forget the world, you have found it. The cabin was properly stocked with all essentials from bedding, to towels and even wifi. I will say the pictures hardly do it justice. Arriving there the very first day we were absolutely blown away at how naturally beautiful the cabin was, and how much the owner put into making feel like a 5 star experience. Definitely one of the best places you could stay to experience maine, and we'll certainly be back =).

Heaven on Earth
We are local to the area and have recreated on Trickey Pond for decades, never did we imagine how beautiful and totally enjoyable staying in this cabin would be. It was clean, and very well equipment inside and out. The waterfront was perfect and just want I was hoping for. The water is so clean, and the sandy beach entry is just what you want if you like to swim. The wildlife did not disappoint! The resident loon came to visit each morning of our visit. Get up early and on the dock to see it make it morning fishing rounds.

Enjoyable Getaway
Perfect spot if you enjoy nature, fishing. House is small but charming! We opted not to sleep in the loft - ladder was steep and close to stairs leading to TV area. I was a bit concerned about climbing down in the middle of the night. I’m sure it’s fine for most. The futon, although not the most comfortable, was doable for the 2 nights of our stay. House was very clean, well equipped from the kitchen to outside items. The rain kept us mostly grounded, but the surroundings were very peaceful. There was enough dry time for us to do a bit of fishing. We also were able to enjoy dinner and some music on the causeway. Owner was very responsive when I had questions! Will be returning to Trickey Pond later this summer with our entire family (different rental). It’s a beautiful lake/area!

There are too many great things to say about this cabin to fit here. We stayed here for 2 nights and didnt really need to ever leave the property. The studio cabin is small but perfect for a couple or maybe 3 people. You can tell that the owner is very thoughtful because this place has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The large windows facing the pond let in so much light and allow for a great view from indoors. The outdoor area is so well maintained and and set up perfectly. There is a propane and charcoal grill, a firepit, a hammock, outdoor table and chairs for dining, a dock, and 4 different boats to use on the lake! Listening to the loons and the owls at night was so enjoyable too. Plenty of stargazing on a clear night and there are virtually no neighbors within earshot of the cabin. I would highly recommended you his property and hoping to return myself some day. Thanks for being a great host Dave!

Everything you need to escape
Wonderful cabin with excellent outdoor space with plety of firewood and all the water toys (kayaks, row and paddle boats) you need. Very easy to get to town for shopping and eating but far enough away to not have to be bothered with other tourists and just relax. Would recommend to friends and family and plan to stay again!

Prettiest little beach in Maine!
What a lovely retreat. The cabin was gorgeous - you can feel the love that went into building it. Everything was as advertised - it's great to have no surprises. Loved the fire pit. I heard the loons every night and turkeys across the road. There's a bit of road noise during the day, so it's not for people seeking total quiet. Dave was very responsive and a truly super host. Loved it!

Beautiful, Private Retreat
Our stay was perfect. The cabin is not far from a roadway and occasionally some road noise was evident, but it did not detract at all from the privacy and serenity at the cabin. The cabin itself was beautiful and perfect for the two of us. The lake and surroundings were beautiful. We enjoyed the views and took the kayaks out. It was so relaxing listening to the loons and sitting by the fire in the evening. We hope to come back soon!

A piece of heaven
Our stay at Dave's place was beyond wonderful. For the first hour that my husband and I were there, he had to listen to me say "Oh my God, this is amazing" every 30 seconds. Perfect perfect perfect!
This place is perfect for two and perfect for having a few visitors during the day. There was so much to do you won’t get bored; between kayaking, swimming, row boating, paddle boating, having fires, grilling, hiking, jump roping etc. the list goes on! The weather was completely on our side with sunshine and clear skies it was perfect for tanning and staying nice and toasty. The water was emerald blue/green and was very warm! We could tell right away how healthy the lake was which gives no hesitation for wanting to jump right in. Plenty of privacy and no neighbors at all really making you feel as though you’re in your own little piece of Heaven. Dave was extremely flexible with us and couldn’t have been better at communicating and getting back to us at just about anytime of day! Very kind and enthusiastic to converse with. Inside the cabin is was cozy and clean, only tricky part as figuring out all of the light switches and getting up into the loft by the ladder after so much kayaking, our arms were pretty weak and sore climbing up it haha. We can’t wait to go back!

Amazing stay at this secluded setting. No neighbors in sight, other than the occasional kayaker or fisherman. There is a no wake zone, no loud boat traffic. Property is clean and well kept, everything you need is there! Great communication with host, 5 stars all around!

Absolutely Wonderful
My boyfriend flew in from Australia for a long visit and we escaped from RI to this cabin for some off-grid relaxation. It was perfect! Tidy, cozy, and completely tucked away. The lake is beautiful, and we enjoyed coffee on the dock listening to the loons. Bring board games, dvds (yes! DVDs!) and cards for rainy day fun, and if the weather is good, you have amazing trails and outdoor activities all around. Close to grocery store and town…just perfect! We didn’t want to leave, and can’t wait to go back!
