„We stayed at the Toyoko Inn Hokkaido Shinhakodatehokuto-eki Minami near Hakodate located right next to the train station on April 21, 2025. Before our arrival, we emailed reception to request an earlier check in time and they replied saying it was no problem and that we just have to pay 1000 Yen. Great! This is already the 3rd Tokyu Stay hotel, that I visited in Japan and in this one the rooms are a little bit bigger than in the other Toky Stay hotels. Staff is very friendly and helpful. If I would only compare it to hotels in that price range, I would have given 5 Stars, but since I also reviewed hotels ...

„Really lovely hotel with super helpful staff. Breakfast was great“

„Very smooth check-in. The place was really beautiful. The location was good, too. Quick walk to the red brick area. 20 minute walk to the ropeway. We were there in June, and didn't need to use the fire place, but the smell of woodsmoke was there. During winter, you expect the smell of wood burning, for sure, but I was not expecting that in June. However it didn't bother us since it was kind of like staying at a camping site. Just wondered if this might not be great for some people sensitive to ...
