„Wir verbrachten 2 Nächte. Die Wohnung (Altbau) ist in einem sehr guten Zustand. Sowohl die Schlafzimmer, Küche als auch Bad. Die Lage ist top. Sehr nah am Jetty. Sehr nah zur "Flaniermeile". Wir hätten auch gerne noch 1 bis 2 Tage länger bleiben können. “

„The Apartment is amazing, and must be one of the best on the beachfront. Easy walking distance to the Beach, to the Tug and Jetty Restaurants and to good bars. The apartment itself is very spacious with great furnishings and well looked after. I'd definitely stay there again anytime. Negatives were small, like the TV was not big and the wifi slow, but we did not really spend that much time using those in any case. „Communicating with the host was frustrating. An hour before arrival there was still back and forth communication because she did not have the booking due some issue with her Vrbo account. Booking was made for 3 guests, bedding was only provided for 2 guests. Requested additional bedding, only duvet and pillows delivered at 9am, no sheets. Give this property a miss if you want to avoid frustration and poor service. “

„We only stayed at the property for one night as a stopover between tours. The place is nice and very conveniently located within walkable distance to the few sights there are to see in Windhoek, and some restaurants and coffee shops. I got e-mails with two different unit numbers so there was some confusion at the check-in which one was the correct one. Also, the electric meter was not "filled up" so the security person had to contact the property manager to do that in order for us not to run out ...

„We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Barend's property. It was clean, spacious and well furnished. The beds and couch were very comfortable. We especially appreciated how well the air conditioning worked since we rarely experienced that at the other lodges around Namibia. The guard to The Village was helpful too. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.“

„Sehr bemühtes Personal, Verletzungsbedingt konnte ich früher einchecken, vielen Dank nochmals dafür! Ich hatte ein Zimmer in EG mit kleiner Terrasse und Blick zu den Nachbar Gärten. Um unangenehmen Gerüchen durch die dort urinierenden Hunden vorzubeugen, würde ich mir eine regelmäßige Säuberung wünschen und nicht erst, wenn dies beanstandet wird.“
