Located in South Nags Head at milepost 20.5, Hack’s Hideaway is one of the few places on the Outer Banks where you can experience the comforts of a nicely decorated and modern home yet still get the pleasures of the “old” Outer Banks vacation. Replenished beaches with room for everybody are a highlight and except for two conveniently placed piers, you won't find any hotels or commercial businesses on this part of the Outer Banks. The end of South Nags Head is flanked by the Cape Hatteras National Seashore. Dolphins, whales and even seals have been known to make an appearance here. Situated not far from the Outer Banks Fishing Pier and Jennette’s Pier, this truly is a fisher or nature lover’s paradise. You're also centrally located, so you can enjoy a wide range of the locals' favorite activities such as the Bodie Island Lighthouse, Manteo, Hatteras and a day trip to Ocracoke, if you're feeling especially adventurous.

In Hack’s Hideaway you will enjoy a top-level open concept living, dining and kitchen area. The living room offers space for the whole group to gather for family movie night on the large flat screen TV and even offers direct access to a deck with ocean views perfect for sipping your morning coffee. The open dining area allows room for eight to ten guests with unobstructed views and direct deck access to additional outdoor seating perfect for hosting your own family crab and shrimp boil. Also, found on the top level is a queen bedroom with semiprivate full bath. Down one flight on the mid/entry level you will enjoy one of the more unique aspects of Hack’s Hideaway …. more ocean views! Typically blocked by high dunes in other homes, both the sitting room equipped with 32” flat screen, bedroom with 2 bunk sets which are fitted with UBS outlets and shelving to hold electronics and covered deck all offer more panoramic views of the crashing waves comparable to most oceanfront homes. Also on this level are two additional bedrooms both with double beds and flat screen TVs and a full hall bath. Downstairs features include a covered area with an enclosed outside shower and grill.

Hack's Hideaway does not include sheets and towels, however, an optional package can be purchased for any reservation. No pets, please.
