The Space:

Welcome to Surf Monkey, your perfect OBX vacation! Located in South Nags Head, this oceanfront oasis offers every amenity imaginable for a quiet family getaway. From the top level, enjoy views of the ocean from all points of the open and spacious living areas. You have beautiful panoramic views from the observation deck, offering sunsets of the National Seashore Preserve, or sunrises over the ocean. The spacious kitchen is fully stocked for your family to whip up incredible meals to enjoy together in the dining area, or al fresco on the deck. The chef of your family can enjoy great views while they cook; no one misses out at Surf Monkey! The bonus full size fridge is an added perk, ensuring you have more than enough space for the groceries and snacks a group of 22 will require. The hot tub is on the top level deck, so you can fully relax in the evenings to the sound of the waves before heading off to sleep. A king bedroom with an ensuite full bath rounds out this level, as well as a half bath for convenience.



All other bedrooms are located on the lower levels. The bedrooms on the mid level are all king bedrooms with direct access to bathrooms, ensuring convenience for everyone! An extra perk is that 2 of these king bedrooms have deck access.



There's a rec room on the ground level, with space for a movie night, skee ball, or a round of billiards. The arcade tabletop is a fun gem for retro gamers, with 50 classics like PAC Man, Frogger, Galaga, and more! The wet bar keeps snacks and drinks within easy reach. Two more bunk bedrooms down here sleep up to 10 guests combined.



The pool area is your own private oasis. The pool can be heated for a fee ($75/day or $500/week by advance request), and there's plenty of sunloungers for soaking up some rays. Private access to the beach is a huge benefit! No need to haul your stuff for a long walk, just take the dune crossover and you're already on the sand.



Additional amenities for your convenience include a washer/dryer and outdoor shower to help keep everything clean and sand free for your stay.

**Per HOA guidelines and local laws, the guests making the reservation must be at least 23 years old and be present during the entire duration of the stay. For non-family groups, all guests must be over the age of 23. If this rule or the home occupancy limit is breached, guests may be subject to fines or eviction.**



The home is stocked with a starter supply of paper products and toiletries to get going, but it is recommended that you bring or purchase more to last for the duration of your stay. Linens and towels are provided at no additional charge.



**Pool will open April 1st and close in early November**



The Neighborhood:

Known for towering sand dunes in Jockey's Ridge State Park and along the coastline, Nags Head is a beach town on North Carolina's Outer Banks. Enjoy beautiful walks on woodsy paths or boardwalks, with plenty of local wildlife and greenery. A variety of shops, restaurants, and other excursions are available in addition to the natural environment.

Payment schedule: 50% at time of booking, 50% or remaining balance due 30 days before arrival.



The following violations may be subject to additional fines up to $300: unregistered or unapproved additional unapproved, late departure without approval by host, & house left excessively messy.



High speed Wifi is an amenity that is provided at the property but we cannot guarantee functionality for issues that are beyond our control. Potential Wifi outages will always be handled in a timely manner and resolved to the best of our ability. Unfortunately it is not guaranteed that our solutions will fix the issue and refunds will not be given for Wifi malfunctions.
