Verbesserungswürdig: Sauberkeit und Zustand der Unterkunft
Etwas in die Jahre gekommen und schmuddelig.
Die Anlage insgesamt mit dem Polobereich und der Minigolfanlage ist ganz nett aber leider etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig, man kann die Gespräche der Nachbarn teilweise verstehen. Die Sauberkeit der Küche lies zu wünschen übrig. Die Herdplatten waren schmierig, die Kaffeekanne innen mit einer erkennbaren Patina versehen. Im Bad konnte man das Alter der Hotelanlage an der Duschwand-Abtrennung erkennen, diese war grösstenteils schimmlig geschwärzt. Das Brummen der Außenteile der Klimaanlagen war deutlich vernehmbar, nach ein paar Tagen gewöhnt man sich aber genauso daran. Bis zum Strand sind es etwa 2,5 km der Vergnügungsbereich liegt etwa 1 km entfernt.

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The common areas/grounds were very nice. We had a couple of issues that seem related to ongoing maintenance. The lock on the sliding glass door was inoperable and had to be replaced. The repairs were not completed until 11 pm on the night we arrived. After driving for 6 hours this was difficult. While the maintenance engineer was super nice and efficient it would seem that something related to safety should be checked before guests arrive. An added difficulty that night was that the linen package for the sofa sleeper had sheets and pillows but no blanket. Very chilly night! In general the linens were pretty worn/frayed. I expected a bit better given the reputation of this facility.

Overall the hotel was clean and well taken care of. This review is mostly positive besides talking about outside certain hotel balconies. Around 5am the geese starting going crazy and they don’t stop. We got woken up then and went to see what was going on. a whole group of them live on the property so just a heads up. Bring ear plugs or a white noise. Also no fans in bedroom is a little different.

The only thing that made this property difficult was the construction/remodeling made it very difficult to find our building. There were no signs redirecting us on how to get around the construction.

Check before you sleep
Bed bugs. Sent photos but were basically told they didn’t exist. In room laundry and vacuum so we washed and cleaned to make the stay bearable. Was handicapped room with roll in shower so changing rooms not much of an option for a 3 night stay. Other than this, facilities and room was very nice.
