Verbesserungswürdig: Sauberkeit
This was a last minute booking as everything else was booked due to the holiday weekend.The first thing we noticed was the smell. I know they are pet friendly, but it straight up smelled like a cat had lived there. Being allergic, my allergies immediately set in. Needless to say, we went to the store and bought Ozium just to tolerate the smell.I knew the place was going to be small, but it was EXTRA small.The cockroaches were in full swing at night, you go outside and you’re lucky if they didn’t run across your feet.This unit was in the back, so there was no sunlight that could come in the room, and to top that off, with no sunlight and the smell, they have the window NAILED SHUT. So, not only not safe. But we couldn’t get any fresh air at all.The bathroom only had one place to hang anything. So beach towels, your bath towels, wet swimsuits etc. we had to leave beach towels in our car just to let them dry.The toilet ran nonstop all night. I did reach out to the property manager, and she was kind enough to offer to send maintenance to fix the toilet. We just had to keep the door closed to the bathroom so we could sleep at night since the bed sits right up against the door pretty much.The door to the inside of the unit auto locks, so you can’t even dead bolt it or lock it from inside for extra safety.The best thing about this unit was how close to the ocean it was. These might be a new unit units to the owners, but there are a lot upgrades that need to be done.
