Ornos beach is among the most beautiful beaches of Mykonos. It faces the south, and thus it is protected from the strong northern winds, known as "meltemia". It's the nearest beach to the capital, with fine sand, sunchairs and umbrellas. Schools for diving, sea - skiing and wind surf are also located on the beach. Various restaurants and bars are located along the shore. Apart from a great variety of Cafes, restaurants and clubs, Ornos beach has also a butcher's shop, super markets and pharmacy stores.
