Ozeanfront Oase: Ihr Traumstrandurlaub erwartet Sie

Wake up to the sunrise over the ocean, then walk out the back onto the sand. Memories in the Sand is oceanfront on Garden City Beach with direct beach access, and the Garden City Pier is about a 6-minute walk.



Sleeping (up to 14 guests): 5 bedrooms, each with a queen bed and smart TV, plus a queen sleeper sofa in the living room and a daybed with trundle upstairs. Two of the bedrooms have ocean views.



Bathrooms: 3 full baths with walk-in showers. The primary bedroom has its own bath, bedrooms 2 and 3 share a Jack-and-Jill bath, and bedrooms 4 and 5 share the bath upstairs.



Kitchen and living: the kitchen, living room and dining are on the first floor, with ocean views from the living room. Stainless appliances, dishwasher, ice maker and coffee maker. Dining for 8 plus 4 counter stools. Washer and dryer, Wi-Fi, smart TVs throughout, linens, bath towels and beach towels, and starter supplies (toilet paper, paper towels, soap and shampoo).



Outside: a covered porch facing the ocean, ocean-view balconies and decks on both floors, an upper balcony with a view of the pier, and a shaded picnic table and outdoor shower under the house. Covered parking with room for 5 cars (groups have fit up to 8).



Getting in: self check-in with a keypad lock. We send your door code through Vrbo messages on arrival day.



Good to know: the house is raised and has stairs. Guests always mention how comfortable the beds are. We have it treated for pests every two weeks.



Cameras and monitoring: 8 outdoor cameras and none inside. Two cover the driveway, one the bottom of the rear stairs, one the top of the rear stairs, one the owner's closet door, one the outside stairwell entrance, and two the area under the house. None view the outdoor shower. Two Minut monitors inside, on the first and second floors, measure noise levels and detect smoke. They do not record audio.



Before you book (these terms are also in our rental agreement):

• The guest who makes the reservation must be 25 or older and stay for the whole reservation.

• South Carolina law requires a written rental agreement (S.C. Code §27-50-240). After booking, you sign it online and upload a photo ID. We use the ID only to confirm identity and age, and we delete it within 14 days after checkout unless it's needed for a damage claim.

• No more than 14 people may stay overnight, including children. Visitors must leave by 10:00 p.m., and no more than 14 people may be at the house at any time.

• Quiet hours are 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.

• No pets or emotional support animals.

• No parties or events.

• No smoking or vaping inside. Smoking is allowed outside, away from windows and doors. Smoking or vaping inside results in a $500 smoking cleanup charge.

• Other charges apply only if needed: the actual cost of extra cleaning beyond normal use, damage repair, or a lockout. For Vrbo bookings, we request these through Vrbo.
