„Our stay at the Mackenzie Suites was very nice. Our host was amazing, very freindly. Even as we had the smalles apartment (as she apologized for) it was really comfy and spacious. It was very clean with a good view of Lake Tekapo. The suites are a litle outside. If you don´t want to use the car it will be 15-20 minutes by foot until you reach the centre.“

„If you like a themed room styled by Thing One and Thing Two from Dr Seuss then this is for you . Don’t be fooled by the exposed beams and fireplace photos on the home page being in your room because they are not . Gaining access on arrival which only can be done on a Smartphone if you have signal and if you like dealing with s faceless system then this is for you as well …. it was very stressful . Being very cold and I had visions of having to sleep in our car because no Pin code for our room ...

„Beautiful room with great view of the lake, church and southern alps at Lake Tepako. Very modern, well furnished, and warm for our winter stay. Very close to cafes and restaurants. We stayed two nights for our visit and Heli hike to Mt Cook. Would definitely stay again.“

„This room is tiny. The large window/sliding door lets in all the heat and there is no A/C to cool it off, just and under-powered fan to blow the hot air around. You can’t leave the door or wi Dow open as the insects flock in. The ensuite is fine but the shower is tight. The walls are thin so unfortunately you hear all the movement from next door. “
