„Die Lage des Central House ist wirklich zentral - der Name hält, was er verspricht. Das historische Gebäude mit der schönen Veranda ist hübsch im angemessen historischen Stil eingerichtet. Leider lag unser sehr(!) kleines Zimmer im Dachgeschoss, was die Freude ziemlich gemindert hat. Der Service beschränkt sich auf eine Kaffeemaschine und einen Kühlschrank zur gemeinsamen Nutzung - für ein B&B aber vertretbar.“

Spacious and comfortable. Light breakfast items delivered to room per a checklist guest submits on-line the night before. Keurig in room. „This motel is perfect. The text and email communication is exceptional. It is an easy paved walk to downtown Bar Harbor and right at the entrance to Acadia. I am already planning my next visit to stay here!“

„The bath towels were of high quality but not white. It is a pet peeve of mine that when I use a common use towel I want them to be white so that they can have the ever-living daylights bleached out of them between guests. I did love that little gas fireplace. The furniture could have been arranged slightly different with two comfy chairs and a coffee table looking out over the harbor instead of the dining table which got almost no use from us due to the amount of really great food in walking ...

„The location of this motel was favourable to our liking. Close to all the action , but far enough to be private and peaceful. Very clean and well appointed accommodation. Great communication with staff. We would love to come back some day“

„Lighthouse Cabins were very clean and the owners are very friendly, professional and full of information for us. We were not sure what to do at this part of Acadia NP and we were helped. Lovely inside cabin, hot water all the time and free washer and drier. Would stay again. “
