Tucked away in a quiet lakeside community with a GOLF CART! Only 6.4 miles to the heart of downtown Blue Ridge. Hop on the Golf Cart and head on over to the Beach, through neighborhood to Morganton Point Recreational Area where you can enjoy Lake access, public beach, kayak & paddle board rentals, a boat ramp and the most beautiful sunsets. After the beach take the Gold Cart over to Nomads market for lunch and ice cream. Great neighborhood for walking, biking, and easy paved road access. Graced by surrounding mountains, our "Storybook cottage" is made of lovely log construction and exudes time honored charm. A dining nook adjoins an eclectic kitchen that while small, is stocked with everything a cook would want. Two guest bedrooms downstairs lead to an open deck, while a large "sleeping loft" holds 3 twin beds and extra bathroom. Premium Cable. Always excellent wifi and cell service along with large working desk and comfortable chair make it great for working remotely. Guests have access to the entire cabin and surrounding areas. We do however ask that guests avoid the crawl space under the cabin. Our cabin is located in a quiet lakeside community. Morganton Point Recreational area also provides a public beach where you can rent canoes, paddle boards, or just spend the day swimming. Enjoy a peaceful leisurely stroll through the neighborhood, soaking in the scenic Mountain views along gorgeous Lake Blue Ridge and checking out some of the most beautiful homes by the lake. Guests will need a car to get around. Along with a carrier for hiking that will hold up to a 40lb child. There are also toys and books for the little ones as well as BOARD GAMES FOR ADULTS AND TEENS. Going to the Beach: Two beach chairs, beach towels for 7 guests and beach bag are available for use. Pantry Items: We provide salt, pepper, sugar, olive oil, a starter coffee brick with coffee pot filters. As well as different teas to enjoy. Enough Paper towels and toilet paper to last for a long weekend. Hotel Amenities: We offer high-end hotel sized shampoos conditioners as well as body wash and lotion.
