„Super accommodation. The staff are ultra attentive and the food is first class. Beautiful part of the world to stay in but maybe a little remote for some. Only slight drawback was we were housed in the ground floor room of the boathouse and the noise of people walking around in the room above is very loud. If they got up in the night it wakes you up.“

It was in a out building, with easy access to the garden, bar and dining areas, but was a bit difficult to get suitcases over the gravel pathway. Very quiet, lots of space and windows to open. "Nice older building. Despite the nicks, dings, old furnishings, and imperfections the hotel has a very nice atmosphere. Additionally, the staff are all exceptionally nice. I suggest visiting the bar if you enjoy a nice quiet conversation with a pint. There was a great selection of beers. I would highly recommend a visit to the Great Malvern Priory church. I'm not religious but the building is beautiful and packed with history.
Unfortunately, there is some not so great items to note. The housekeeping was not good. In my opinion, the universal standard for replacing towels is to leave them in the shower/tub or on the floor which I did on two days. On one of these days the staff placed the used towels back on the towel rack and no fresh towels were given. No excuse for this type of action in the service industry. Also, the floor of my room was dirty upon arrival and never vacuumed during a 5 night stay. I did request a vacuuming but only one room was done. Full trash cans were not emptied daily. Lastly, the bedding was never changed during my stay. I requested a bedding change on the third day. The young lady simply removed the top sheet and never replaced it.
The Great Malvern Hotel is a nice hotel and I would recommend it to others but that recommendation would come with a room cleanliness caution. "
