Das Hotel liegt strategisch günstig in der Altstadt Montréals in unmittelbarer Nähe zu vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Das Design ist ziemlich einmalig, leider gab es kaum Informationen zu den ausgestellten Kunstwerken - am Rande hörte ich dass viele der sonst dort ausgestellten Werke aus finanziellen Gründen zwischenzeitlich entfernt wurden. Auch in den Zimmern hängen Bilder, wir konnten zu denen in unserem Raum jedoch keine Informationen finden. Unser greäumiges Zimmer lag leider auch sehr nah am Aufzug (Klingelton war jedes Mal zu hören wenn er ankam) mit Ausblick auf den Parkplatz, das war nicht ganz ideal. Für den Preis hätte ich mir insgesamt etwas mehr erwartet, auch das Bad war eher klein und eine Wanne mit Duschvorhang finde ich wenig komfortabel. Das Personal war professionell freundlich, zum Frühstück können wir keine Aussage treffen.

The entire staff was superb. One staff member, Thomas has to be recognized for his professionalism, intelligence and demeanor. The artwork throughout the hotel was so enjoyable. The rooms were immaculate, and aid service was excellent. The rooms were quiet and comfortable. This trip was for my wife to meet her Canadian family-she was adopted from Montreal at 4 months old and through ANCESTRY.COM we found a biological half sister that has been a joy. We were able to meet her daughter, grandchildren and great grand daughter and we used the beautiful hotel lobby as our own living room and enjoyed drinks from the bar. OUTSTANDING PROPERTY and a better staff.

The property was not as advertised. The lobby smelled of cigarettes and cleaning fluid. The beds were so old and worn that they sagged terribly when sat on. The room was dirty and the furniture looked as if it had been taken from a garage sale. We ended up finding another hotel.

What a gem! I reserved this hotel this weekend and it was only my second time in Montreal and I was not disappointed. Friendly and accommodating staff (helpful in so many ways including calling taxis for us). The staff spoke French and English which worked for my party. The continental breakfast was delicious, the decor lovely and the lounge was cozy. It is literally near everything. Restaurants on the block and more shopping and restaurants an everything else within a 3-10 minute walk. Facilities are modest but solid. My only regret was that there wasn’t a gym-but I did so much walking it all evened out. I want to bring my husband back and I would totally stay here again!

Interesting hotel filled with art (albeit many replicas of famous modern art). Vintage feel and a nice little continental breakfast included in the morning. Windows throughout need a cleaning, and the furniture in the dining area was a bit shabby. All this said, it’s in a great location near many restaurants, and the vibe felt unique compared to other more contemporary hotels in the area. Staff were also nice and helpful.

We did not have a food experience with the physical condition of the rooms in this hotel. We had to change rooms twice- the first room didn’t have a functional working safety lock on the door and the tv didn’t work, the second room didn’t have working air conditioning, so they moved us to a third room (which had a sewer smell in it but we were tired of changing rooms so we stayed). The staff, however, was very nice.

This place was perfect for a couple to spend few days in the city. Location cannot be beat- you are close to downtown and being in Old Montréal steps from all the dining and shopping. Nicely appointed rooms with comfy robes, high ceilings. Could have had a better shower head/water pressure. Through Expedia and it being still the off-season got a v good deal. Maybe if we paid full price/during peak season would have expected more from the breakfast, but felt like for what we paid/our needs, breakfast was the perfect start to the day. Friendly staff.

Tallest ceilings and windows in the room I’ve ever experienced! This is a pretty quirky hotel, you’ll always have some interesting art to look at. Très bien localisé, avec un petit déjeuner continental respectable et un personnel jeune et attentionné, cet hôtel dans un édifice historique présente un bon rapport qualité prix dans le vieux Montréal. Seul ombre au tableau, il nécessite un certain rafraîchissement au niveau des tapis et de la peinture autrement TB.

Staying here was a wonderful experience, like living in an art gallery. The staff were all attentive and had positive, helpful personalities. Great decor and very friendly staff. Rooms are really good and location awesome. Room was a bit small and shower was lukewarm. Breakfast was basic continental - though great croissants!

It was conveniently located to so many places and we were able to walk everywhere. The bed was comfy, staff was very kind and accommodating. We had an issue with water pressure being just a trickle when switching to hot to fill tub and they had us in a new room within 10 minutes of notifying them of the issue. The rooms were beautiful and the Hotel itself is an Art Gallery.
