This 5 bedrooms + 6 FULL bathrooms offers a fully stocked kitchen, laundry facilities, a 500 sqft courtyard, high-speed internet, and so much more.

It's ideal for a business trip or conference, and because it's on the ground floor (there are no steps to access it), it is perfect for people with mobility difficulties* or families with small children.

Le Plateau Mont-Royal is one of the most popular and vibrant places to stay in Montreal with plenty of shops and cafés, and "mom and pop" stores. This apartment is surrounded by restaurants, cafés, shopping, theaters, and so much more. You will not need a car unless it is extremely cold outside.

In terms of parking...
Some free street parking can be found at times on the surrounding streets, but guests will need to be careful with the complicated signage that is in French only.

For this reason, we highly recommend using the closest indoor parking garage which is located at 400 rue de Malines.

Taxis or Uber are also easily found in Montreal.


OTHER NOTES:

- * Although a regular-size wheelchair will fit through the front door, we can not call this apartment wheelchair accessible. The wheelchairs will not fit through the bathroom doors, and we do not have accessible showers. If the person using the wheelchair can walk a little, this is a good choice. TO BE NOTED: The entire basement area (1 bedroom, 2 bathrooms and living room) will be difficult to access to someone wheelchair bound.

- This apartment has 1 indoor camera (facing the front street door. For break-in prevention only.) No live feed and no view inside. There is also a camera right outside of the apartment, at the back, facing the door opening to the back alley. Again, for break-in prevention only, and no view inside of the apartment. Lastly, there are 2 cameras in the storage area of the basement (which is not meant to be accessible to guests) to prevent theft.

- Once you book this space, you will have access to the whole apartment (except for a utility room that remains locked at all times under the basement stairs). You will NOT have access to the rooftop terrace. This is reserved for those renting the top floor.

- You will receive an SMS once VRBO confirms your reservation. It will ask you to reconfirm your phone number and to send us your means of travel.

- You must be at least 25 years of age to book this apartment. Anyone under the age of 21 not accompanied by a parent will need to provide the parent's or legal guardian's consent in writing.

- No 3rd party reservations will be accepted. The person making the reservation must be present during the stay, but doesn't need to be the 1st to arrive.

- We charge a high cleaning fee only to save our guests on taxes. The real cleaning fee is much lower. For this reason, you will be asked to perform a few simple tasks at checkout. We ask that you please load the dishwasher and start it, that you gather your garbage, seal the bags, and bring them to the back alley, and that you put the WHITE towels ONLY in the laundry machine and start it (the detergent is provided).
Our cleaning staff will take care of the beds (we like to spray them before washing) and everything else.

- Luggage can NOT be dropped off before check-in or left in the apartment after check-out. Our staff will not clean if guests' personal belongings are in the apartment.

- Early check-in and late check-out requests will be considered based on staff availability and will cost $115. If the request comes less than 10 days before check-in, the cost will rise to $150. The new check-in time will be 3 pm and the new check-out time will be noon.

- *We reserve the right to charge between $100 and $300 +tx to anyone not performing the required checkout tasks or to anyone leaving after the agreed-upon checkout time.

- There are NO regular TV channels other than the Samsung TV channels, but you can use your accounts for streaming services.

- It is important to note that travel insurance should be purchased by all travellers to protect personal belongings and last-minute trip cancellations or interruptions. Please look into it before you book any trip around the world.

- We have all the permits necessary to rent short-term in our city. We are certified by the Quebec Tourism Board and are a registered business in the province of Quebec. We can provide receipts and tax numbers upon request. We can also provide separate bills for other corporate rentals upon request.

- In addition to the pack-and-play, we can provide a standard crib, but it must be requested at least 2 weeks in advance.
A $50 + tx fee will be applied for assembly and preparation upon arrival.

- With the rise of car theft in Montreal, anyone driving in should consider bringing a steering wheel lock bar or any other device that could keep the car from driving away (like a car boot). Anyone driving SUVs, especially Toyota Highlander, Honda CRV, any type of Lexus, Jeep (all kinds), Pickup trucks, or Toyota Rav4 Hybrid, are encouraged to use indoor lots (the closest is located at 400 rue de Malines, a 2-minute walk).
As a courtesy, we have a steering wheel bar available that guests can borrow.

- **FAB HomeRentals will not be held responsible for any thefts, incidentals, or anything "parking related" **. By renting our apartment or our parking, guests acknowledge that they understand and agree to these terms.

- We cannot ship any items left behind after checkout.

- Non-smoking policy: Cigarettes and cigars are tolerated only if smoked OUTSIDE. Marijuana is NOT permitted on the premises, not even on the front terrace. When smoking outside, please do not throw cigarette butts on the ground.

- Quiet hours are between 10 pm and 9 am. Music will be tolerated between 9 am and 10 pm, provided the neighbours do not complain.

- Loud parties are not permitted. If a noise complaint comes up, VRBO will be immediately notified, and guests could be asked to leave.

- Pets are not permitted on the premises. Neighbouring pets are also not allowed in the apartment.

- Movie rentals are not permitted without prior approval, but will be possible if paid for in advance.

Great getaway in a vibrant neighborhood!

What a perfect location for those who want to experience Montréal like a local. We had a mixed family group of 3 generations and there was something for everyone to do and get excited about. Our teens loved shopping at all of the vintage shops, book stores, game and comic shops, and record stores within walking distance. Sports buffs watched the Canadiens’ games at the charming pub next door, Auprès du ma blonde. The foodies loved the nearby fresh grocer, cafes, bakeries, and restaurants. So many restaurants! 100 percent agree with the owners’ recommendation that breakfast at L’Avenue is incredible.The apartment itself is spacious, comfortable, and scrupulously clean. The owner was very quick to respond when I had one question. It everything you want from a VRBO rental.Location is also a 5 minute walk from a secure indoor parking garage AND the metro, so it’s convenient to any other part of the city.We are already thinking about a return trip!

Walking up to the entrance gave us a start - it looked like an abandoned store front. Once we stepped inside, everything was as advertised, and better. The apartment was well stocked with everything we needed. The courtyard was very nice.

Wonderful all around!

The place was wonderful, exactly as described! Everything was spotless (aside from graffiti on outside wall door, which I’m sure is almost impossible to keep off); the bathrooms were very nice; the kitchen was extremely well-stocked with dishes and silverware. And the neighborhood is fantastic! If I had one suggestion it would be that the multiple online forms of communication (VRBO and two online sites/guidebooks) can be a bit confusing, and they didn’t seem to all track each other, particularly in terms of our early check-in and late check-out, for example. But that was a very minor item in an otherwise great stay!

Wonderful Stay in Montreal

This property is one of the nicest places I have stayed. We were nine college friends celebrating our 45th reunion. The location is great. Easy access to many nice restaurants and a short walk to the metro which makes the rest of Montreal very accessible. The host was exceptional responsive when we found an issue with overnight parking due to the fact that we were there the weekend of the Marathon. I highly recommend this beautiful, well equipped, spacious apartment.

8 first-time Montreal arriving via bicycle

A group of 13 of us biked from Sherbrooke into Montreal for a few days of touring. 8 of us stayed at this FAB property which was just the right location for us to explore Montreal on foot for a few days Frederique was gracious and responsive with our questions ahead of time because we had to store five cars nearby for a week while a group shuttles back to bike in over five days. The tourist college right down the street has secure, convenient underground parking. Once we arrived at the unit we found it was REALLY well-appointed for our comfort for meals and sleeping, including the brick courtyard. Bedrooms with connected bathrooms for everyone. We walked 20 miles over the two days we and the location was great for exploring. We appreciated the clear and simple entry and exit instructions and will be recommending it to our hockey friends in the usa who will be coming up for games at the Bell Center.

Perfect location - amazing property!

We were thrilled with the accommodations for our group of 12 people. The apartment was well equipped and made for a great stay! Excellent place and location

This apartment was perfect for our family of 11 who were in Montreal to celebrate milestone birthdays of our parents. The location was perfect for those who wanted to explore the city and go for walks. There were lots of great places to eat. It was also very accessible to different tourist attractions such as Old Montreal. The place was very clean, the kitchen fully stocked to cook anything we wanted. It was so convenient that each room had an ensuite and it's own thermostat. The management was very responsive to any questions, always helpful and always very pleasant. Diamond in the rough

So if im being honest i wasnt sure what to expect when i arrived. The front of the building is like an old store n dont look very appealing but once inside the place is very nice. Completely redone and was very clean. Each bedroom had its own bathroom wich was nice and the beds were comfortable. I actually felt comfortable. Its very spacious and i would definitely stay there again. The owners were really nice and its in a spot thats easy to walk to everything u need. I definitely recommend it!

Amazing and very well worth every penny

This property was amazing and well worth it. The host Frederique, Abigail & Bernhard are the best. Highly recommend for a large family. Location is superb. Close to all restaurants and cafes. Excellent for small children. Clean and well decorated Amenities are perfect and everything unbelievably. We had a great time and highly highly recommend this home. Expectations for all 12 of us were met

We had a fantastic stay in this apartment. We had 2 seniors, 2 infants, 2 kids and 6 adults (including two pregnant mamas) in our group, which meant we spent a lot of time inside the apartment. This place really was perfect for our family get together, with easy access to the Metro (subway) lots of cute shops and restaurants in the areas, and only a 10 min walk to the world famous Schwartz’s. The pictures are all very accurate, and the all the amenities listed were available. The bedrooms were all very roomy, private and having a bathroom in each bedroom was wonderful. They also had a booster seat and play pen, which wasn’t listed in their amenities, but were useful for us. Bernhard and Frederique were very responsive to our needs, calling or emailing us back almost immediately, and were very helpful to find solutions. I would definitely book this apartment again, and highly recommend this to anyone considering a wonderful stay in Montreal.

Great location, fabulous place.

5 bedrooms, 6 baths, and beautifully decorated makes for a great place to stay. Neighborhood was outstanding and we just had a terrific time. The hosts have thought of everything you could need or want. If there were 10 stars, that's what I would have given.

Excellent accommodations for our large group of adults!

This property did not disappoint. The bedrooms were large and clean, each with their own bathroom. The location of the property was perfectly situated for all of the activities we had planned. The hosts were prompt and attentive to all of our questions and requests. I couldn’t have asked for a better set up to travel from Seattle to celebrate my 40th birthday with 12 of my dearest friends. I would highly recommend this or any other property hosted by Frédérique and Bernhard. A+ to them!
