Live like a Montrealer in this peaceful condo located in the middle of it all. Forget about your car for a few days, you don’t really need it. Whether you just want to work and rest, or get all of what Montreal has to offer, Condo/Terrasse Atateken is for you.

This charming condo has been legally welcoming guests since 2012. Its success lies in its comfort, cleanliness, central location and level of service provided. It has everything you want from an urban pied a terre: a large, very quiet bedroom with a walk in closet and a TV, a cozy living room (that can be closed off and turned into a second bedroom) with a large TV, a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to cook yourself almost any kind of meal, with an espresso machine and a dishwasher, a lunch counter, a dining room for more formal meals, a laundry area, and a furnished, private rooftop terrasse where you can unwind.

Condo-Terrasse Atateken is located in a popular, quiet and safe downtown area. Indeed, you can cover all yours basic needs and a lot more within 3 short blocks: supermarkets, pharmacies, a butcher, bakeries, a cheese shop, fruit markets, a natural food supermarket, wine/liquor stores, 24/7 convenience stores, a dry cleaner, a hardware store, numerous hair & nail salons, aesthetics, printing & office supply shops, coffee & tea shops, restaurants, gyms, etc. etc.

-This condo is located on the 2nd floor (16 steps). There is no elevator.
-Parking is available for 20$CAD/day + tax (federal and provincial sales taxes - 15%).

GOING THERE AND AROUND
- Easy access by car. Less than 5 min from Expressway 720 and Jacques-Cartier Bridge.
- 9 min walking distance from Montreal's Bus Terminal, from where you can go everywhere in Canada and the US. It also makes it easy to take a day-trip to Ottawa, Quebec City or to a ski resort.
- There is also an express shuttle (the 747) between the bus terminal and Trudeau Airport, and a few car rental agencies if you plan to visit the beautiful countryside (e.g. do a wine tour).

ABOUT THE NEIGHBORHOOD :
The condo is located at the heart of The Village, one of the oldest downtown neighborhoods in Montreal, built in the middle of the 1800s. It’s streets are lined up with trees and historical 3-floor stone or brick houses topped with slated roofs and window dormers. There are numerous old horse carriage doors, alongside more recent buildings and stunning murals. The neighborhood is sprinkled with manicured city parks and playgrounds, old schools and churches, and laced with large backyard alleyways mainly used as gardens. The history of the neighborhood and of its residents is told at the MusĂ©e du fier monde, located on the same street as the condo.

This hip area is composed of an ethnically diverse population including young families with kids, white & blue collar workers, retirees, old and recent residents, LGBTQ2S persons, and students of the nearby Université du Québec à Montreal, all living in harmony. Three main roads cross the Village: first, Sainte-Catherine St., which is the main shopping and entertainment strip of Montreal. Second, Ontario St., which is mainly filled with all types of specialty food stores. Lastly, Atateken St., mainly known for its antique shops, designer stores and art galleries.

Wonderful experience

It was our first time to Montreal. Host was warm and friendly and provided us a brief orientation at check in. We appreciated the list left for guests noting nearby spots of bakeries, groceries, restaurants, and other attractions. The apartment is up a flight of stairs and located on the 2nd floor. It is well decorated, clean, fully appointed kitchen. A lot of thoughtful attention from the products in the bathroom, nespresso, availability of cooking oil, having umbrella's for guests if it rains. For upscale dining experience check out Panacee - unassuming, yet warm and friendly place and the food was outstanding and able to accommodate my allergies. It's a great city neighborhood, you can walk or access the metro or bus within a very short walking distance. My husband already stated, when we come back to Montreal we should make sure to see if we can stay here again. Pick this place you won't regret it.

Wonderful stay!

The property was extremely clean/well-maintained and gorgeous. Location was excellent, and the host was very responsive. He provided a lot of extra helpful information for us including maps of the area with points of interest, including his own reviews of different amenities and attractions around the neighborhood at various price points. Would not hesitate to recommend and would definitely stay again!

A perfect "pied-Ă -terre"

The appartement is as described, and perfectly equipped. Réjean was a great host, even helping us park our car in the snow.The neighborhood is great (check out the cheese store and bakery near by). The subway station is a short walking distance away.L'appartement est parfaitement équipé et trÚs bien situé, Réjean est un hÎte attentif. TrÚs bonne adresse. Clean and easy

The properties exactly as advised. It was easy to get to; in a good neighborhood; clean; and comfortable. Communications with Rejean were very good. He is quick to respond and very helpful. The apartment is quiet, despite being very near the lively restaurant and nightlife area. It was also very conveniently located to the metro station. We very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, safe and well-located apartment.

Great Experience

We enjoyed staying in this place! It was perfect for our needs, sparkling clean, and decorated well. The communication was great with the owner, who is very friendly and responsive. He has made sure there is everything you need for your stay. Great location for getting around. There is a parking space available for an extra fee. We left our car there for 4 days and walked/metro'd everywhere. Highly recommend!

Rejean is a fabulous host. Communication was clear and very timely, he met us at the door, showed us around the spaces, gave us good advice on things to do and see in the area and was readily available, had we needed anything. We needed nothing, because he had supplied beyond what we could have needed. We had planned to find street parking, but decided to use Rejean's $20/day pass and are glad we did. We parked without hassle and were very pleased not to have to use the car for our entire stay. Location was fantastic, great proximity to Old Montreal, comfortable bed, lovely terrace, and wonderfully clean apartment. We could not have been happier!

A+ all around!!

Communication with Réjean was amazing from the time of booking to departure - including supplying us with last minute restaurant suggestions, directions and any information we needed. He met us at check in and went over everything. His place was perfect--4 family member adults comfortably stayed here. We loved the outdoor back deck! We took advantage of the parking that was extra and it was very convenient. However, the location was in easy walking distance to many parts of the city so we rarely used our car. We would highly recommend this place to others and hope to one day return!

Perfect Montreal Stay!

We loved staying at Réjean's place for our trip to Montreal. Being close to Rue St Catherine was a fun location (especially in the summer when it's pedestrian only), and it's so convenient with being a less than 10 min walk to the metro station. Lovely stay in the heart of Montreal.

This condo was perfect for our needs. It’s got anything you would need for a comfortable stay. The terrace is a delight, the beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. The location is great for walking many places and transit options are nearby. We would definitely stay here again.
