The neighborhood is home to a mix of historic homes and modern apartments, many of which have been beautifully restored to their original charm. Entry is at the BACK of the home, not the front. Pull through the back gate and inside the wooden privacy fence from California Street, then park inside the gate. The electronic smart lock is on the back door, two or three steps up. Your code is released in your digital guidebook once your rental agreement is signed, your check-in form is complete, and your balance is paid.

BATHROOMS
1.5 bathrooms provide practical facilities for groups and families. Standard amenities include hot water and all necessary essentials for comfortable use.

KITCHEN & DINING
The fully equipped kitchen features stainless steel appliances and original countertops that preserve the home's historic character. You'll have everything you need: dishwasher, microwave, oven, stove, refrigerator, freezer, coffee maker, and complete cooking basics. A dining table provides space for family meals, and wine glasses are available for evening relaxation. This is a home where you can actually cook and enjoy meals together.

WORK & CONNECTIVITY
A dedicated office/workspace makes extended stays and remote work seamless. WiFi throughout the property keeps you connected, and you'll have access to air conditioning and heating for year-round comfort. This setup works beautifully for families mixing work with relaxation.

A few things to know before you book:

PRIMARY GUEST
The guest who books must be at least 25 years old and must stay at the home for the entire reservation. The primary guest is responsible for everyone in their group and any visitors.

RENTAL AGREEMENT
Every guest is required to sign a short rental agreement after booking. This is not optional: our property insurance requires a signed agreement for each stay, and our attorneys have advised the same. It covers house rules, check-in and check-out procedures, occupancy limits, and responsibility for damage. It takes about two minutes, and there is no app to download and no account or password to create. We send it after booking along with a brief check-in form, and your access details follow once both are complete.

HOUSE RULES
• Maximum 8 overnight guests
• Quiet hours 9 pm to 8 am
• No parties or events
• No smoking or vaping
• Pets welcome: up to 2 (dogs 60 lb or under; some breeds are restricted for insurance). $50 pet fee per stay covers all pets. Please add pets to your reservation.
• The fireplaces are not for use
• No commercial photography or filming without our written approval (see below)
• Please lock the back door each time you leave. It does not lock automatically

DURING YOUR STAY
Our cleaning, maintenance, and guest-support team works hard to make your stay great. Airbnb expects guests to be considerate and respectful of hosts and everyone they meet during a stay, and we ask the same toward our team, vendors, and neighbors. Concerns are always welcome. Verbal abuse, threats, or harassment of anyone on our team will be reported to Airbnb.

Please tell us about any damage as soon as it happens so we can sort it out fairly. Please keep total people on the property, including daytime visitors, within the guest limit. Please leave the exterior cameras and the indoor noise monitor connected and uncovered.

Commercial photography or filming is only allowed with our written approval before your stay. Approval requires a commercial general liability policy of at least $1,000,000 naming Dreamline Suites as an additional insured. All house rules, guest limits, and parking rules still apply.

PARKING & GETTING IN
Entry is at the back of the home, not the front. Pull through the back gate (it isn't locked) and inside the wooden privacy fence from California Street, and park inside the gate. The street in front of the house can get congested, so we encourage parking in the rear. Visitors may park across California Street in the vacant lot. The smart lock is on the back door, two or three steps up.

GOOD TO KNOW
The backyard is fully fenced with a wooden privacy fence. The outdoor walkways use repurposed materials and can be uneven or slick, so please watch your step. The home has 1.5 bathrooms.

PETS
Up to 2 pets are welcome (dogs 60 lb or under; some breeds are restricted for insurance). A flat $50 pet fee per stay covers all pets, and pets must be added to your reservation. Please crate pets when they're left alone, keep them off beds and furniture, and clean up after them. Service animals are always welcome, at no fee.

EARLY CHECK-IN & LATE CHECKOUT
Available on request when the cleaning schedule allows. $20 per hour, one-hour minimum. Message us and we'll check with our cleaning team.

BEFORE CHECKOUT
Before you head out, please leave used dishes in the kitchen sink or dishwasher, gather used towels in the tub, put trash in the kitchen bin, take your food and belongings, and turn off the lights and A/C. Our cleaning team handles the rest.

LOCAL RULES
City of Montgomery Ordinance 29-2026 (short-term rentals):
• Maximum occupancy is 2 per bedroom plus 2 (8 at this home)
• Park only in designated spaces. No buses, RVs, or commercial vehicles
• Amplified music is allowed indoors only
• No weddings, receptions, parties, or events
• Trash bins must be kept out of public view except on collection day
The city fines the operator $250 for a first violation and $500 for each one after. If a guest's violation results in a city fine, we will request reimbursement through Airbnb's Resolution Center with the citation attached.

SECURITY & MONITORING
For the safety and security of our guests and the property, motion-activated cameras are installed on the exterior only. They record audio and video and monitor entrances and outdoor areas. No cameras monitor any indoor area. An indoor noise-monitoring device measures noise levels only. It does not record audio or video.
