Everything in the house is high functioning and the view to the river is beautiful. It’s a long windy drive up and down to the house but it’s worth it. „We didn't use hot tub - it's too far under tree to feel comfortable in it. We had to purchase our own hand soap and paper towels. We could not get the heating system to turnoff - too warm in house. Try communicating with owner he said no AC. All the baking pans did not fit the oven. Nice house hopefully gets more organized.“

„The house was in a central location and was very cute. Overall, I would recommend staying here. The main bedroom was very nice with an attached bath. Some of the dishes were dirty, but I also would not expect the hosts to rewash every dish after every guest. The main reason I put good versus excellent is that the rooms were a little confusing. The one with two twin beds (one of them a trundle) was very, very small. The one with three twin beds (one of them supposedly a trundle) seemed like it ...

It felt uncluttered but still fully stocked, which we appreciated. The house also has amazing decor. The location worked perfectly for us, just a short drive to everything in Monterey, plus a Safeway next door. The hot tub deserves its own mention.
