„We had a great stay at the Kakanui Cube. The house is well-designed, modern, clean, with all the amenities you need (laundry, sharp knives, comfortable bed, plenty of space). We slept so well with the sea air nearby, and woke up early each morning to catch the magnificent sunrises. Equally enjoyable are the sunsets — the way Kakanui is situated you can enjoy both over the ocean. The house is in a rural area so WiFi bandwidth can be an issue — it may not be practical to expect to be on zoom calls ...

„Comfortable and spacious, close to the town centre and facilities such as Countdown and restaurants. Was sent the address after we had started our trip and had to chase the manager for it. Apparently there was a glitch in the system. Perhaps because the bathroom is new, (with a great tub!), there weren't any towel rails or a shower basket/shelves (found a broken one under the sink).“

„It was wonderful to have a whole bungalow to ourselves, in such a quiet area, yet only a couple of minutes drive into fascinating Oamaru (where there's plenty of free parking). The beds were very comfortable, a lovely spacious lounge, with 2 large sofas, and it was good to be able to cook our own meals in a proper kitchen, rather than having to eat out each night. In short, it felt like home! Fred couldn't have been more helpful and kept in prompt contact for all our needs. “
