„Tons of nostalgia here from my childhood, as my my grandparents had a similar sized farm and I had many fond memories there growing up. We stayed 3 nights and drove up to voyageur national park two days. Overall a great place for two families with young kids vacationing together. „The house and property is very clean. Lots of space. We didn't get to enjoy the decks due to the windy colder weather. The bedroom on the main level was nice for those not able to handle the old farmhouse steep steps to the other bedrooms. Ron was a great host by stopping by when we arrived to introduce himself and answer any questions.“

„Dan was super nice and accommodating. If you are looking for a 5 star hotel, look elsewhere. It you want a large, clean farmhouse, this place is for you. Being a working family farm, expect to see a tractor or two going in and out. We really enjoyed sitting on the wrap around porch with a book watching the cows. Lilly, the family's dog, was super friendly and may come to visit you. We will definitely go back! Thanks again Dan!“

„We came to do some biking in the area. I was concerned we had booked too far from Lanesboro, but it was perfect. The drive is beautiful from there Houston has a really nice bike trail, too! We visited several towns in the area and this home was a great place to come back to each day. We stayed our trip at the Houston Visitor Center, since we got to town early. „This is my absolute favorite place to stay in Minnesota. The property is beautiful, incredibly clean, comfortable, and luxurious. Every time we stay here it feels like a vacation. Our dogs could not be happier staying here and we have made so many good memories each time we stay here. Downtown Stillwater is only 6 minutes away and there are many wonderful restaurants and shops. The hosts are outstanding and always go above and beyond to make sure we have everything we need and more.“

"Das Hotel hat nur für eine Übernachtung nach Ankunft am Flughafen gedient. Da das Hotel nicht auf meine Email-Anfragen bezüglich Shuttle vom Airport zum Hotel geantwortet hat, habe ich mir für ca. 30US$ ein Taxi genommen. Checkin war schnell erledigt, es gab 2 Flaschen Wasser dazu. Obst war in der Lobby verfügbar, das Frühstück ist typisch amerikanisch. Tagsüber fährt immer zur vollen Stunde ein Shuttle zum Airport"
