The house needs work
The house provided plenty of space, linens, comfortable beds, and kitchen supplies. However, we believe more attention should have been given to the overall condition of the house before the "new owners" put it into the rental pool (to capture rental income during the 2024 Coppertown/Dreams Park season).
We experienced plumbing problems; the AC unit not working, and a few other minor yet annoying issues with the house.
Though Josh was quick to respond to all our concerns, having two maintenance workers in the house for the better part of two of the five (full) days we were in the house was intrusive.
The house itself is located close to Dreams Park and offers enjoyable lawn space: a firepit, seating, and a maintained pool. We were not sure of the source of the dairy/cow/pasture odor that was present, yet the abundance of house flies suggests somewhere nearby. This leads to the importance of having all window screens intact and the lack of seals around the doors and windows addressed.
Though it is important to note the house is on Septic, noting the cost is not necessary and rude.
If you want the guests to take out the trash and the recycling, it would be wise to have both a trash and recycling container in each kitchen. Then post a notice specific to which outdoor container/dumpster is for what. When we arrived previous guests had used the smaller outdoor bin for trash, not just recycling. (we couldn't reach the bottom to pull out the bag of trash).
