More about the neighborhood

Our home is centrally located, making it a breeze to get anywhere on Aquidneck Island. By car, you can get anywhere on the island within 10-15 minutes. In the warmer months, we love to walk to Easton’s Beach or Downtown Newport and it usually takes us around 25-35 minutes. If you have the time, we definitely recommend walking to avoid summer tourist traffic or limited parking in some areas of downtown.

Main Floor:

Living room, dining room and kitchen are located on the main floor of our home. Living room is equipped with a 55-in smart TV, Super Nintendo Mini System, several luxury classic board games, and puzzles. The home is BYOL (bring your own login). Our fully stocked coffee bar has a Nespresso, French press, burr coffee grinder & electric tea kettle, as well as a variety of teas and Nespresso pods. While we hope you enjoy some of the delicious local restaurants on the island, our kitchen has all the equipment you need to prepare your own meals if you prefer to stay in.

Second Floor:

The bedrooms and only bathroom are located on the second floor of our home. The master bedroom includes a comfortable queen-sized bed and a work space for any of your work from home needs. The second bedroom also includes a queen-sized bed.

Basement:

Washer and dryer are located in the basement and available for all guests to use. There is an exterior door in the basement that remains locked & secured during your stay, please do not use this door to access the backyard.

Outdoor Space:

This home has a private, fenced-in backyard for you and your family to enjoy during your stay - including any furry friends! We’ve created a cozy outdoor lounge area with a gas grill, so you are able to take advantage of the beautiful Newport weather during your stay. We ask that you clean the grill after each use.

Beach chairs and toys are located in the shed in the backyard. We also have a pickle ball set and other yard games available for your enjoyment.

Guests have access to the entire townhouse and private backyard. Owner’s closet located in the basement is off limits, as well as, the breezeway that connects the two separate backyards of the property.

We want you to feel at home when you stay with us. Here’s some important things you should know about the property.

Our home is a two story 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom townhouse with a basement and private backyard. The 1200 sq ft home can comfortably accommodate up to 4 people - 2 people per bedroom.

Parking - homes on our street share driveways with neighboring houses. Our designated guest parking is on the RIGHT side of the BUILDING on the LEFT side of the DRIVEWAY in front of the fence. The driveway can fit two cars and there is plenty of street parking available as well.

Locks - the front door is equipped with a smart lock keypad entry. Each guest will receive a unique code prior to check in to use during your stay. This code is changed for each stay, so you can rest assured you are safe and secure.

Shoe Free Home - No shoes inside the home, please. For the health and safety of our guests, we request that your shoes be taken off and left by the front door during your stay.

Air Conditioning - We want you to be as comfortable as possible during your stay. In the warmer months, there are three powerful and efficient window AC units in our home. One unit is located on the main floor in the dining room. The other two units are located in the bedrooms upstairs. Additionally, both bedrooms have ceiling fans for your added comfort.

Beach Towels - We have designated towels for beach use, please do not use bath towels when you visit the nearby beaches. We also ask that you try to minimize sand that is tracked through the house, excessive sand in the tub or on floors will result in an additional cleaning fee.

Quiet Hours - As a courtesy to our neighbors, we request that guests observe quiet hours between 10PM and 7AM. Please avoid loud music or excessive noise during this time. This home also shares a wall with the adjoining unit, so please be mindful of being overly noisy in the stairwell.

Security Camera - There is a security camera installed on the front porch to monitor the entrance and front yard of the property. While we won’t be actively monitoring the activity from the camera during your stay, it is there for the peace of mind of our guests in case we need to review footage for any security reasons. There are no cameras inside of the home.
