Kälteinbruch 3 Tage in Miami: Das Hotelzimmer besaß keine Heizung, das Zimmer war 17 Grad kalt. Heizlüfter wurde uns erst nach 2 Tage gebracht. Wir saßen mit Anorak beim Frühstuck. Die Klimaanlage konnte nicht auf Warmluft eingestellt werden. Die Dusche mit Warmwasser wurde erst am dritten Tag aktiviert.

Thank you for the comments Franz, We take every comment to heart so that we may better our services for you and future guests. Miami is not ready for snap colds, it's usually hot year around. This was something out of our control and we did the best we could with what we had available at the moment. All heaters were bought out everywhere. But we understand your frustrations and we apologize for the inconvenience. Until then, safe travels.

Recht gute Lage am South Beach zu erschwinglichem Preis. Geräumiges, aber etwas spartanisches Zimmer. Für unsere Zwecke absolut ausreichend. Allerdings sah dad Wasser im pool nicht so sauber aus, deshalb sind wir lieber nicht rein.Waren allerdings immer Leute drin, wahrscheinlich kiloweise Sonnenschutz drin.

This was a very nice stay. The check in process took a little longer than expected. Also the cleaning lady was very thorough even though she forgot to replace the towels once. She was very nice and cleaned our room very well. I would stay here again.

The only negative about this hotel was that the bar in the courtyard below our room was very loud literally ALL night. I mean thumping bass loud music and drunken yelling. Someone even banged on our door yelling at some point in the night. When we left for the airport at 5 a.m. there were still a couple people in the bar and a girl passed out on a couch in the lobby. All fun and games, just be warned if you have an early flight the next day

Room was not the room I paid for, no tub very small balcony cleaning lady’s came in room after asking them not to come in to clean they barely spoke/understand English, waited 30 minutes to check in when I was well past check in and called before hand to let them know I’d be there at that time.

Great property!!! Sooo cute. Of course it was loud due to Sola being downstairs but we expected that. Beds are semi comfortable, sink got backed up, minimal power outlet access and the pool was a tad bit small. But overall the stay was great!!! I would highly recommend.

Overall is a nice place to stay if you want to walk around and be near the beach and restaurants. There is not loading zone for luggages. The front desk person, Walter, needs some retraining tho. it seems that he does not know how to talk and welcome guesses. The first time we checked in with him and had a question about the deposit and resort fee, he had some attitude when talking to us. The next day when we went to ask for towels, he rolled his eyes while helping us. We called for room service several times with the telephone in the room, and no one picked up. It seems that the front desk is understaffed. It is something that can be improved.

Firstly the lady at the reception was very very rude then we stayed in a room with a broken bed and l can’t believe it even has any stars was super disappointed and l will never stay at this hotel again In the morning l requested for a late check out the lady went to say only vip get late check out 😳😳so I stayed for free???

The location was great - South Beach was very walkable including all its bars. There was lots of nightlife but we didn’t feel like it was loud in our room. The dining spot on site was the best part - Would be cool if they offered discounts for hotel guests although we had fun anyway. Rooftop pool and bar was fun. very kind of them to give us a complimentary bottle of wine. on our arrival.

This is the 2nd time I’ve stayed at the Fairwind, and it was a very pleasurable experience. The front desk is very accommodating if you need anything. It’s clean and a very close proximity to the beach. You can get fresh beach towels every day which was very convenient. It is definitely a better place for adults.

Gave us an occupied room. Opened door walked in and found clothes and shoes in it. When notified front desk I was told it shouldn’t be occupied. After convincing them got another room. Did not like that there was no secondary secure lock besides door lock. Furniture in room old and beat up. Would not recommend.

I wished the buildings around the property were connect well. Both my boyfriend and i had to go to the main building where the rooftop pool is and the elevator wait time was kind of long. Other then that, its a great hotel to stay at and staff were friendly and professional.

We not only got upgraded when we got there. The front desk staff, cleaning service, bar sevice at Sola was ALLLLL AMAZING. I have been coming to Southbeach for 21 yrs and thos is definitely one of my favorite hotels. I will be staying here again.
