„Beautiful setting. It was another very warm day but there are plenty of shady spots on the terrace where you can sit with a cool drink and enjoy the very spacious gardens. It’s a small hotel which gives it its own intimate vibe. The rooms are nicely decorated. We had a standard room which had a four poster bed. It’s an old building so the floor was a little uneven. „Fantastic stay. I received a warm welcome and was informed of the history of the main house and given informationabout breakfast and the relaxing bar area. Breakfast orders are taken the evening before, and my order was delivered to the dining room at exactly the time ordered (it was hot, fresh and delicious). There are cereals etc already in the room. „Fantastic stay in the Hatfield Lodge Room 2 was great, spacious, quiet, clean. The shower room was lovely large, i feel it maybe a cleaning product used but it seem to leave the floor very slippery and the shower could do with some anti slip texturing on the tray and a handrail for safety. Only down side needs plugs next to the bed. Apart from those points would happily stay again. “

„Had booked a single room but on arrival found out I had been upgraded to a double. Happy days. All staff I encountered, especially the breakfast employees, were so helpful, kind thoughtful and friendly. Room was plenty big enough even with my dogs bed. Shower was efficient and so the hotel was quiet at night. Only gripe - tea bags were not what I’m used to and not great. Otherwise ideal stay. Great vfm too. “
