Waited with 3 other guests at check in on a Monday at 3:45-4:30 the entire lobby was unattended, the two other guests and myself called several times no answer, no sign on the desk be back, no nothing, pool/gym the two biggest amenities CLOSED ON NOV 8th, rooms are ok definitely not what you would expect from a Baymont. On Saturday I was forced to check-out or they would call the police all because the CC on the room was my brothers as he paid for the week to keep out of my car, only to be forced out he called and talked to a different person who fixed the stay and had to get all my stuff and check into a whole different room. None of lamps work, double bed room there was a towel, hand , and face cloth. Hair dryer broken, desk chair leaning and dangerous.
This location in Merrillville is ran like carp, asked to speak to the GM on day two about the lobby being totally infrared for over a half an hour. Never came and talked to me. The lady at the front desk Indiana chick just acted like leave a cash I’ll and computers and everything unsecured for that time frame at that time of the day is unacceptable.
When o asked about the pool I wactokd it’s closed for shocking joe it an a best western 20 years ago I don’t know any closing that takes a week to work. The pol was finally open my lady day here but you have to hi to the desk they let you in and it’s 3pm-9pm so silly I was told they had issues in the past? Ok…….? and yet the pool is visible from the front desk!!!
