Idyllic remodeled cottage on the shores of Black Cat Island on Winnipesaukee

Although less than 10 minutes from Center Harbor restaurants, shops and amenities, as you drive across the bridge onto Black Cat Island you’ll know you’ve arrived somewhere special! This idyllic Cottage is sited only 35' from Lake Winnipesaukee and the views are spectacular. Enjoy stunning sunsets from the screen porch, and you may also see the famous M/S Mount Washington cruise boat go by. The Cottage has been remodeled and the kitchen, dining area and living room are an open concept with fantastic views of the Lake. In the living room, enjoy nights by a cozy gas fireplace. There is also a flat-screen TV with DVD player. There are three bedrooms, each with a closet, and two bathrooms. There is also a washer and dryer. Follow steps down to the waterfront where there is a small 12x10 sunning and swim dock. The dock and waterside platform are provided for guest’s relaxation, sunning and swimming only. The dock is not suitable for boat tie-up and may be used for boarding and disembarking boats only. A boat up to 20 feet in length may be kept on the provided mooring just off the dock. Cottages like this one are a rare find on Lake Winnipesaukee. You’ll want to come back year after year! If you would like to rent sheets and/or bath towel packages from At The Lake Vacation Rentals, the cost of sheets (including arrival bed making) for this home is $100.00. Towel packages are $12.00per person. Please let us know at the time of booking if you would like to rent sheets and bath towels as availability is limited.
