Flies and roaches. No bedbugs, though. Lock on the door was not secure and the door had no seal around it. Unnecessary couch in the room looked disgusting as all the flies were congregating on it. Spend the extra and go somewhere else. Anywhere else. Staff was friendly enough when I checked out less than 10 minites after checking in.

Sorry for inconvenience Renee this part of state have heavy flies problem. Not trying to give excuse it just been challenging for this area. Regarding roach we have called our pest control company for them to come and take care of it. Again sorry for the inconvenience.

Bathroom floor was dirty behind the door. There were several cockroaches. Had to ask for tp and towels. Old food in the fridge and microwave. A man's dog was hit on the road. He was very distraught. Rather than offer any condolence kindness, the owner called the police.. 10/10 would avoid this place.

IF I WAS A VETERINARIAN I WON'T HAVE CALLED THE POLICE BUT I AM NOT SO I CALLED THE PEOPLE WHO CAN HELP IN THE MOMENT AND I THOUGHT PEOPLE DO CALL POLICE WHEN THEY NEED HELP OR IF THEY SEE SOMEONE OR SOMETHING HIT BY ON THE ROAD. oh and We like to apologize for cockroaches as we have let our pest control company known the issue with the room you stayed in.

The man who checked us in was very nice, and you can tell the rooms were remodeled and our room was very clean. But the the shower didn't drain and the room we were moved to ended up being occuped by someone else. Also, there was a man lingering in the parking lot who appeared to be on something. So my child and I decided to leave and find somewhere else to stay.

Thank you so much for your feedback and I am sorry for that experience with us as that guest was retired veteran with no where to go has he missed his ride so we end up giving him a room for a night then staying on the street. Non the less I like to apologize for inconvenience and if you ever need of the room and happened to be in mena we take care of it.

The people who operate this property are amazing. They were very good to me the whole time I stayed here. One time something was wrong with my lock on the door and I couldn't get into my room. They got their mechanic there to fix it for me immediately. I felt very safe and supported. My room was clean. I would definitely stay at this property again.

The property looked scary from the outside. Inside was a decent room. There were things missing that you would usually find in a hotel room. No Kleenex and not a trash can out in the room are two things I can think of.

The staff is very friendly, the location was great. The room was not that great. Behind the bathroom door was dirt piled in corners, you could tell it hadn't been swept or mopped from last person staying. You could tell the floors throughout the room were not cleaned. The linens on bed were clean. Just paid way too much for the room I stayed in.

It is clear that the owners are trying to make some property improvements, but I think the facility is just too far gone. The room was very "tired" even though they have done a few remodel things. The paint on the wall is grey with paint patching with a not-very-close different shade of grey slapped on in several places. the floors had not been swept in some time; obvious because of the dust bunnies behind the doors. I am not sure what stain was on the back of the entrance door. The shower was temperamental to say the least. I still don't know how we got the shower to a decent temperature but once one of us got it to not scald us, we just left it on until the other of us got into the shower. The ceiling tile was a few different shades of white; some of the lights were not plugged in, the TV worked for the most part etc. etc. etc. On the positive side, the sheets were clean and I think the bedspread was new. Oh, and the train coming by a few times that night didn't help.

Very noisy and dirty hotel. There's a reason why it's cheap. All you here all night is the loud trucks from the local idiots, not a good area overall, you would think a little town like this would be good.

Pleasantly surprised
We were a little apprehensive when we drove up to the motel because it is old, but the room was nicely renovated. The heater kept us pleasantly warm all night despite below-freezing temperatures. We didn't hear a sound from other rooms next to us.

It looked nice from the outside. The first room that was actually reserved for us was nice, clean, recently remodeled. The floor was sticky. Made a noise when we walked on it. So the manager gave us a different room that was also nice. The floor in the first room probably needs to be stripped & refinished. Something must have made the wax or finish start to dissolve & so was sticky.

I am sorry to hear that Mahesh. Room was non smoking and we did offer to move you to what we had available which was king non smoking but then you said that won't work and i said i can spray some or give you candle and you took the candle also send housekeeper behind you to spray just incase you changed your mind. also when you came to office you didn't mention anything regarding bugs or roaches as it come to surprise to us in a sense that we didn't do anything about it. we try to give offer you what we had available at the time which shows we did what we could, so don't say we didn't do anything. once again we are sorry for unconvinced you had with us.

This is a standard motor inn but remodelled with quiet air conditioners, very comfortable beds, clean, and roomy. Plumbing/shower worked great... with a rainfall shower head! I will definitely stay here again when visiting Mena and the Talimena Scenic Trail.

Sorry to hear that Linda, our sign does says "Pardon our mass as we renovated at the door" just incase if you have missed. we spray commercial grade oil base air freshener in the room sorry that small wonderful by most guest was stinky to your small. we did gave you our renovated room so please do let us know what more work we need to do so we don't get complains from guest. A nice Motel.
Looking from the outside, the facility is not impressive, but the staff and room made it an enjoyable visit. The room was spacious and very neat and clean. Huge TV, fridge and microwave. A nice surprise was the walk-in shower. Yes, I would stay here again.

Check in time was at 3 pm according to reservation. While shopping in town i recieved a call at 130 pm from the motel asking if we were still coming and was told the room was ready and we could come and check in at anytime. Arrived about 2pm guy at the desk who admitted he had called me stated the room wasn't ready but we could pay an extra 5.00 to go ahead and check in early. I declined we came back at 3 room still wasn't ready. Manager checked us in we paid with cash. Bill was 94.00 plus a 50.00 deposit which ive never heard of before. We gave him 200.00 for which he couldn't make change and wrote on the receipt we would get our 100 back upon checking out. We did get it back but it felt shady. As far as the room went it was fine

Making huge efforts
My family's stay at Executive Inn was a positive one. The motel had a former reputation that was not very favorable, but the management is showing they are doing all they can to turn that around. The rooms were very clean and rennovated. The beds were very comfortable. My brother, who is very picky about hotel beds and their comfort level, said it was very comfortable and he slept well. I felt the same about my bed. The management was very accommodating and helpful when we had some TV issues, coming to our room right away to help us get it fixed. I hope visitors give the place a try and find that the new management is trying to leave past perceptions of the motel in the past and provide an enjoyable experience at an affordable price.

Found a roach in the coffee pot. Shower control didn't seem to work right. Once the water got hot i couldn't get it to cool off no matter where i turned the knob. Ended up having to turn off the shower and wait about twenty minutes then get back in and rinse the soap off before it got hot again.
